I contacted Luis with HN Contruction Belen for an estimate on some repairs on a 50 yo front entrance deck along with two 8x8 cedar siding that was weathered and warped. Once I signed a contract with him on Wednesday, Luis along with a helper was here Thursday morning. They removed the front deck, stripped the 2 two sections, repair some support that was damaged on the house, rebuilt the deck frame work, built the decking and fixed on section of cedar before the evening and was back Friday morning to finish the other diagonal pattern cedar. I could not more pleased with the workmanship and professionalism of Luis and his associates. I will definitely contact him again with any additional needs and highly recommend giving him a chance to do the same for anyone.

Highly Recommend Luis! Luis recently completed a full deck restoration project for us, and we couldn’t be happier with the results. He worked both independently and with a helper at times, and his attention to detail was outstanding throughout the entire process. He replaced damaged boards, thoroughly sanded, and beautifully stained both our deck and the screened‑in porch below it. He even went above and beyond by taking care of our arbor as well, which was such a nice surprise. We did need to clarify a few small details along the way (like screws vs. nails), but Luis was always patient, professional, and easy to work with. Nothing was ever a problem. We’re extremely pleased with the quality of his work and would highly recommend Luis for any project you have in mind. We’ll definitely be using him again.

I hired HN Construction to paint my deck. He observed that the deck needed some repairs before the painting could be done. He replaced some boards and repaired others. I was very pleased that he found these difficiencies before the painting was started. He painted my deck and the railings. I was extremely pleased with the results. I also found that his price was reasonable and within my budget. I think Mr. Mejia is very professional and meticulous. His desires are to please the customer and leave a positive impression of his workmanship.

Luis did great work! He was fast and efficient. The only problem I had was with the language barrier. Sometimes it was difficult trying to understand what was being said due to something being lost in translation.
