HomeRedi is a gem among home renovation companies. Our previous contractor, whom we hired for a full house renovation excluding the basement, left us in a lurch with shoddy work and open permits. When we initially hired HomeRedi, it was to finish our basement only. However, they not only completed our basement in a timely manner but were also able to assist repairing/re-doing the previous contractors work while closing out the previous permits. I would highly recommend Gerard, Jerzy and the rest of their team. If you want things done right the first time around go with HomeRedi. Highly recommend.

Although some fixtures in our bathroom had been replaced in the past 15 years, it had not been renovated in over 40 years. It had seen a lot of use in those 40+ years - it is the bathroom for all of the bedrooms in the house and for visitors. The space was...to put it gently...embarrassing! The goal of our nearly full renovation ("down to the studs" - only thing that wasn't changed was the window) was for it to no longer be embarrassing. Gerard and Jerzy and their crew far exceeded that goal. We are happy with how the bathroom looks. Homeredi worked so well with our architect and the town to arrange for all of the inspections and modifications requested. Handling of this process was professional and thorough, and we are very grateful for this attention to detail. (Even though all of the fixtures were placed where the old fixtures had been, our town - Town of North Hempstead - still required a permit submission from an architect, multiple "in process" inspections and final inspections for a Certificate of Completion for the plumbing and a Certificate of Occupancy for the final bathroom.) Gerard's vendor referrals for tile, radiator cover, shower door and fixtures were all easy to work with and we are very pleased with the service and products provided. It's important to add that Gerard is extremely responsive. The value of this characteristic in a contractor is immeasurable. He even gave a quick acknowledgement of a correspondence when he couldn't talk right away and said when he'd get back to us -- and always did.

Gerard, Jerzy, and his team are true craftsmen and consummate professionals. They were hands-on from the outset - accessible, insightful, and highly diligent from the conceptualization and design phase to complete a rather extensive bathroom renovation. Attention to detail and high-quality finish work is what truly separates HOMEREDI from the rest. They also provided countless supplier recommendations that yielded material cost savings to the overall project. Gerard from HOMEREDI not only responded our request for a site visit and provided us with a quote within two days, he also voluntary took us to see one of the projects that he and his team completed recently in a nearby neighborhood, so we can see the types of craftmanship that his team does before we make our decision. Gerard was able to submit all the paperwork that required by our village and secure the permit upon signing the contract agreement with us and his team was able to hit the ground running within a few days afterwards. Throughout the entire renovation process, Gerard not only referred us to his preferred vendors for appliances, plumbing, tiles, etc., who provided us with excellent services as well as competitive pricing, he also sent us detailed weekly updates along with videos to keep us in the loop with his teamâ s progress. Additionally, we found him extremely responsive to address any concerns, questions, etc. that we might have by providing detailed explanations/feedback via emails and texts. His crew is also extremely professional and did a meticulous job from start to finish and is never tired of answering any questions that we might have and is always there to provide us with their professional opinions when we needed their suggestions since there were some unexpected problems that we ran into with the house during the renovation. The renovation took longer than expected to complete due to the pandemic, but the renovated bathrooms, laundry room, updated kitchen and the great room came out exactly the way that we wanted, and we couldnâ t be happier with the result. We would recommend HOMEREDI to our family and friends and will work with HOMEREDI again in the future if needed.

Our family decided to relocate from Houston to Long Island in early 2014. After looking at dozens of houses in person, we settled on a property in an established neighborhood. The house, being around 80 years old, was in need of some update. Since we were still living in Texas then, much of what we wanted done relating to the house in New York had to be delegated to trustworthy businesses. This property was likely going to be our permanent home (we have owned no fewer than 3 houses and 3 apartments in the past 14 years because of job changes), so we needed the renovation to be performed to our satisfaction. The expectation was high, and there was essentially no time to waste, as we did not have much downtime between demanding jobs. Our very capable and ever-helpful real estate agent introduced us to HOMEREDI when we came to make an offer on the house in March. Mr. Gerard Zohouri from HOMEREDI responded to our request for a site visit and a quote within 24 hours. He and his assistant both took a close look at the house, then quickly explained to us the potential challenges they might face in remodeling the oddly structured kitchen and two bathrooms, which had seemingly unnecessary soffits and raised platforms. In just a few days Mr. Zohouri was able to provide us with a detailed estimate. We found the quote to be quite reasonable and agreed to let Mr. Zohouris crew proceed with this big project, which was to be done without our constant presence in New York. They began the work the day after we closed on the house in late June. As anticipated, the project did not go on without challenges because of the soffits and raised floors, etc. Also, with much of the house in its original (that is, old) condition, there were more unexpected issues than previously believed. Mr. Zohouris crew was nevertheless able to come up with ingenious solutions to a considerable number of problems while we spent part of the summer in Europe. Moreover, Mr. Zohouri had teamed up with first-rate merchants and designers who were able to meet most of our needs speedily. In August we moved to New York and stayed at a hotel while the renovation continued. It took longer than expected to complete, but the source of the delay was essentially the condition of the old house itself. Mr. Zohouris crew excels in doing a meticulous job. The attention to detail is unparalleled, and overall the craftsmanship meets or even exceeds our high expectations. The renovated bathrooms, kitchen, and basement are simply gorgeous a friend in fact commented that we might very well have doubled the value of the house with this renovation. Of note, Mr. Zohouri is exceptionally responsive to our inquiries and concerns through email, texting, and phone, a real plus for owners who cannot always be at the construction site. Overall we are very satisfied with the result and would recommend HOMEREDI highly.

Gerard was wonderful. He delivered exactly what he promised. He completed out project quickly on a fast tract as we requested. His crew were all great excellent at their craft, very pleasant and did a very clean job. Gerard purchased high end led light fixtures and high quality doors like he would if he was working on his own home. I could not have been more pleased with the end product
