Over the last two years, beginning in 2021, HR Garcia Construction has been our entire family's "go to" company for high quality construction work at a reasonable price. First of all, Hector and his crew of professionals remodeled our home, a 1954 Glendora ranch house, which was more than ready for a major comprehensive facelift. Going room by room, Hector and his hard working team replaced and transformed every element of the old house, including: plumbing, electrical, flooring, windows, sliding glass doors, popcorn ceilings, back-to-back fireplaces, cabinets, counters, appliances, closets, lighting, and fresh paint on every surface throughout. All this and yet still working within the original floorplan and carefully maintaining the unique charm of the home. In addition to enhancing and modernizing all the existing aspects of the original home, Hector designed and installed new built-in cabinetry and counters where they never existed before and finsihed the entire job with crown moulding and deluxe baseboards throughout. Then he and his crew headed outside... painting all the exterior stucco and trim, finishing the spanish lace on the backyard's block wall, painting the entire back wall to match the house, adding outdoor lighting around the back wall and finally building a covered patio. Our daughters were so impressed with HR GARCIA CONSTRUCTION, that they engaged Hector and his team to transform an old one-car garage into a one-bedroom apartment at their property in West Toluca Lake. In 2023, we brought Hector back to our home again to convert and expand our existing two-car garage into a 700 sq. ft. two-bedroom ADU and to build a new one-car garage in our backyard. Once again, Hector and his team did a wonderful job. Hector is consistently very professional and responsive. He always follows-up and makes sure that every detail of the project is finished and completed to the clients' satisfaction. We strongly recommend this excellent contractor!
