Major Renovation - Multiple Rooms
Arrived late each time they can and did not show up once. I had to call to find out they had truck problems. Placed door bumper too far over so door hits wall. Referred to a family member and met him there and showed areas of interest to renovate but he never sent them a quote and no follow up call.

"I have just written to this client.I have received no service calls, texts or emails that there was a minor issue with a door stop. In addition, yes the client referred me to a family member with mobility issues something we are certified to perform and perform quite frequently. I met with the family member and the client at the home and performed a free assesement and followed with with a proposal to complete a ADA Bath Remodel and 2 Stairlifts.This proposal was never responded to nor even a thank you for the assessment by email. On top of this the original cllients husbnad requested a proposal for additional work on the same house that this complaint is about.this proposal was never responded to either. If the work completed was not to standards expected why pay final invoice? Why not call for service call? Why ask for additional proposals on the same house as well as other family members? If the client(s) choose not to communicate a minor issue or fail to communicate on receipt and acceptance or denial on a proposal then how is this our fault? Again a comment not reflective of the facts on the ground."

Addition to Existing Structure Building Service
They charged us for a deck to be raised and put a cover over the deck and screen in the porch. It took too long to start the work and still is not done and he has been paid in full. They only worked 5 days out 45 days, then 25 days out of 90 days. He was very unorganized, he didn't provide all the materials for the job, so the job was delayed. I also wanted the best materials and have found out that the materials were not the best, they used substandard materials and some parts did not past inspection as not up to code. Had to hire another contractor to finish the job because he could not do the job. Extremely poor workmanship, never on time and completely disorganized. Started the project in August and finally asked him to leave the project in December. Also took 6 weeks to start the project yet he already had our money. They did a good job replacing garage roof and removing an interior garage wall. The most stressful thing I have ever been through. To summarize, there was no 10% discount as he had falsely advertised. I hired a second contractor to repair the door, there was no sill plate to stop the water from leaking in. The steps failed to pass an inspection twice and I had to hire someone else to fix them so they would pass an inspection.

"This was a project that included remodel/renovation work to a garage as well as a new roof in addition to building a covered screen porch. So the very first line of the comment is false. The client changed their minds constantly throughout the project on everything from design,construction,location of parking,material storage,etc. The project was permitted and inspected through out. An issue in the end on 2 handrails and a step was identified and labor/material was offered to schedule to finish.It was declined as they wanted their son in law to complete. they hired the same labor to do additional work for them on the side. Contractors cannot be held responsible for delays in permitting and design. Not returning calls at 11pm at night that their dog is barking at the trash roll off is not lack of communication but respect of privacy.This complaint/comment is full of inconsistencies. Look at the other ratings and there will be several more coming in soon that are positive.This clients narrative does not fit the true picture.I have been told if you are in this business long enough you will run into people you can never please. 80% of our clients refer us to other clients and rehire for future work.This will fall into the 20%. Again this person continues to change the narrative when the facts are established. We are dealing with several clients who are cognizant ,rational and very happy as our reviews show prior to this comment. Unfortunately this ended up not a positive experience for either of us. But its time to move on."

We needed some home modifications completed quickly and this company was able to do the work. I was disappointed that the stain used did not match but otherwise the work is professional and functional

Addition to Existing Structure Building Service
Rick was very responsive and took no time to get us a bid for the project. We wanted to finish our 3rd floor and it was a unique project as we had to relocate the stairs to the 3rd floor and do some remodeling on the 2nd floor. His crew was fast and the whole project only took a couple months. Rick was easy to contact throughout the process to go over any issues or changes that needed to be made.

The company was fast and very reliable fixing our garage problem...needless to say - a month later we called back for another project repaired our 12 x 20 screened in porch, from inside and out and from top to bottom. Our porch was saved by Rick's experience and the knowledge in his field, which lead us to one Happy Customer.......Thank You Rick.
