We hired HVAC Service Pros for our home addition to reconfigure our existing HVAC system and install a mini-split for the new space, and they did an excellent job. Rob, the owner, handled the work personally and was knowledgeable, professional, and easy to work with. Midway through construction, our original system unexpectedly stopped working, and Rob responded quickly and got us back up and running without delay. The new mini-split works perfectly, and the whole system feels balanced and efficient. The Good: our furnace failed. They showed up that day and fixed it that day. Not So Good: I gave them the make, model, and serial number of the furnace, and the error code coming off the system board that pointed to a specific part. They showed up without that part. To be fair, they were already in the field so they get a free pass on that. Troubleshooting was brief and the part was right on the front of the furnace. Couple screws and a few wire disconnects so the actual replacement time was minutes. The part costs about $50. The total bill was $621. I paid for a journeyman and an apprentice who did not do anything so he did not learn and I got dinged a bit much in the pricing. The bill had zero detail. Just the part and the price.

Purchased 2 smart thermostats, installed them myself and apparently blew a panel board I didn't know I had. They moved the new panel out where I could actually see it, previous tenant had hidden it behind the furnace, and repaired all of the damage I had unwittingly caused. Explained everything, kept me up to date while they were doing the repairs, and overall, I just feel very glad I went with Rob and HVAC Service Pros. The previous company I'd used, Ranger HVAC, had told me things in my system were A-OK, when they weren't. I highly recommend hiring Rob and HVAC Service Pros.
