HW Asphalt & Road Construction

Be very cautious of hiring and dealing with this company. I hired them to repave a $7000 driveway over a year ago. Within a month, cracks started to appear in one area where the asphalt seems to have "slid." I alerted the company, and received many many repair appointments over the following year. They kept leading leading me on, with dozens of promises. I am in a remote area, so was willing to wait until they had another job in my area, but It's now been over a year of waiting and postponing, and still no repair. Worst of all, they no longer return my calls.

I got quotes from 2 other companies and they WEREN'T EVEN CLOSE to what Henry and Mike quoted me. Tremendous crew of hard working guys. Friendly, honest and professional. I brought a cooler full of bottled water and they couldn't be happier. I would recommend them to family and friends. Nice people.

Initially the job was done fantastically, it looked great and they did the edges at an angle like a professional would do. They built it up and it was not an easy job. But we also paid to have it sealed. I was out in the yard and noticed cracks. I told Frank and he took them out but then there were other areas where the asphalt was compacting/sinking in. There were also tire indention's where you would park and it was not black like it should be and looked years old. We tried getting a hold of them and never could. When we finally did, for the past 6 months there were multiple false promises and no shows and they never called to say they weren't coming. Now i can't get a hold of them at all.

Disorganized. Didn't follow up. Subbed out the striping to an idiot. Did a terrible job on the stripes. Contractor said he'd re-do the stripes. Never came back.

The asphalt is sinking in at some spots all over the driveway,I contacted them a few days after they did the job to ask if they could fix it the issue and Mike (owner) said he would come and look at it but never did and never returned my calls again, and to add to my frustration Mike never gave me a invoice or receipt for the payment on the job.My guess is he never gave me one because he doesn't want to be liable for repairs.DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

Employees were responsive and professional. The work was completed on time and the asphalt paving looks really good!

They knew what they were doing

HW did such a good job, that many neighbors stop by to ask me about his company contact number. We are very pleased with his job. They are professionals and they finished the project in a very good timing. They cleaned the work area after they got the job done. Totally, I would recommend them to others and absolutely, I would re hire them again.

The project was completed timely and successfully. I was very impressed with the representative's professionalism and warm spirit. It is obvious that they have a passion for what they do and strives for excellence. I would highly recommend this company without hesitation.

He is very professional, has the best prices, prompt and did a great job.
