Old-fashioned quality service. Work done very quickly.

Was not happy with this contractor. At first he was very nice. But think it is a marketing thing. He came the next morning after I called. He brought with him a lady assistant who was small enough to fit through crawl space. He was supposed to flush out the water from the sprinkler system to winterize it. It cost $120. Well he first couldn t find the control box for the sprinkler system, but finally his assistant could. Then he goes to the box in the ground where the main valve is and turns off the water. He then opens some pipe cap. And puts back on. He then said he was going to look for the other valves because I had three zones in my yard. He comes back to me in a few minutes and says he is done. I asked him if he blew out the pipes, he said he didn t need to because the pipes are rubber and won t break. Although I thought rubber could crack. So after he left, my wonderful neighbors came out and asked why the guy didn t blow out the lines. I told them what he said. They said the pipes are pvc and can break if the water freezes. I could not believe he charged me $120 to turn off the water. So I called my husband and he said to contact the contractor to tell him to blow out the pipes. So I did and the guy said he will come back tomorrow but couldn t give me a time. I had to go back home so wouldn t be at that house tomorrow. I didn t trust he would come, so I contacted my neighbor to ask her to watch out for this guy and see if he actually blows out the lines. She said she saw him, so I am assuming he did do it. Having not trusting him and asking my neighbor to check on him was not good. He also told me the other valves were under the crawl space, but they are not. Felt he lied to me about everything because I am naive about sprinkler systems. Definitely would not hire again and would not recommend him!

Mr Hall called about a half hour after I posted an e mail, Iâ ll be there at 8:30 tomorrow. Was there on time,fixed what broken. Price was reasonable. I would not hesitate recommend him.

Did not flush out all of water of system

I called in at 10:30 to Home Advisor and was connected to Jim in less than 5 minutes. He was at the house a little after noon.Finished the job in 30 minutes. Affable, knowledgeable. Guaranteed work if irrigation doesn't work next spring - this was a winterization service. Said he'd show me how to do it next spring.

Mr. Hall runs his own business, and he's very professional. I contacted him Monday morning, and he was able to get to our home before noon the same day. He also had the needed parts already in his truck to repair our Rainbird system. Very pleasant and professional. I highly recommend him and am so pleased I found him through Home Advisor!!

Jim called promptly after I contacted HomeAdvisor, arrived on time, worked for 2.5 hours to fix a very puzzling problem. He is also a very pleasant fellow.
