Septic System Repair
Exceptional Service from Ryan, Hayley, and Julio! I recently contacted Hammer Plumbing for a 2nd opinion after S&G Pumping told me that my septic tank needed to be replaced for $8000 to $9000. I opted to get a 2nd opinion from Hammer Plumbing. The gentleman who answer the office line, quickly set up an inspection at NO CHARGE to verify the other companies findings and provide me an estimate. Ryan contacted me about my upcoming appointment and went over what he was going to do for the inspection. He went out to my home and verified that the septic system in fact DID NOT need to be replaced. It is an unusual style tank but only a minor repair and re-certification, was all that was needed. I was sent a clear estimate of costs and scheduling was easy. Hayley got me in right away to get the work completed. Julio came out and performed the repair and recertification of the septic system. I greatly appreciate the honesty and integrity of Hammer Plumbing and would recommend them to anyone.

They charged me $350 for a 30 minute job installing a part that I found out only cost $13. $350 for 30 minutes! AND he left all the mess for me to clean up and never gave me a receipt. He promised to email it but I had to call a week later to demand the receipt.

Septic System - Install or Replace
The very unprofessional group, came out of a septic inspection, came back with the finding that the entire system had to be replaced, then a supervisor came out and refuted the finding. Caused much confusion, then they ghosted me Do not hire this group.

Water Heater Installation and Replacement
The water heater was the same number of gallons as our previous water heater but it was slightly bigger, so it wouldn't fit into the space without jamming it in and bending the door to close it. They should have brought a 30 gallon tank instead.

Fixed one issue (Work was not completed per quote but charged per quote) Caused another issue from pressure set. Paid $98 labor to replace toilet inners. Seems excessive to me, part was free.

Water Heater - Repair or Service
Hammer has done several jobs for my family. They fixed a problem with my water heater - and have correctly diagnosed and repaired a couple leaky toilets. They know what they are doing- no question - The added courtesy and professionalism makes using them a pure pleasure. I am sure they will give me an honest review of my problem- and advise what will fix the problem the right way.
