Paul pulled a permit for the structure underneath the porch and it passed however, there was no permit pulled for the rest of the project .Unfortunately, other contractors have come out and said that it's not up to code and it's structurally unsound so, now I have to have a tear down and it has to be rebuilt again . It's very disturbing because I sunk a lot of money into this project. Permit should have been pulled, for the remainder of the porch. Everything done according to state code and then inspected to see if everything was done correctly.

"Those comments are totally untrue, first off, a contractor cannot pull a permit for a part for 1/2 a project, any city inspector will inform you of this, and if you called your city building inspector they would have told you this, and my proper permit was pulled and all the inspections, footings, and framing were passed thru the city, and I have all the proper papers to prove it and they are on file with the city, also, the customer canceled the project, because she couldn't make up her mind as to how to finish the porch carpentry work, she was to hire someone different to that part of the project. if other contractors r telling her that is structurally unsafe that is untrue all of that has passed inspections."

Wood Stairs and Railings Installation and Replacement
Paul replaced the original stairs in my 96 year old house ( a daunting task). New stairs are solid and beautiful. Cleaned up exceptionally well during and after project. Excellent communication - kept me informed and answered questions quickly. Would definitely hire again.

Deck or Porch Repair
The owner is a huge scam artist. We needed a balcony removed from our old business building by a deadline which became urgent after the lockdown. This con artist told us that because the building is very old, it would take at least a week of work to complete. Signed a contract for $4,600 dollars. This guy comes with one other guy barely assisting at all and was finished and gone in less than 3 hours. I m taking him to court. It is illegal to overstate the scope of the work needed to rip people off! Just gross!

"This is what took place on this job. The customer called our company and stated the city was on them to take a 2 story balcony off their building and that the fines from the city would start if they did not have a contract in place to show they were getting the work done. I told them the price I wanted to do the work, they agreed, and I wrote them a contract to do the work, and they signed, they also had other estimates to do the work. If they did not like my quote they could have gone with someone else. They also needed to have an architect come in after the contract was written to have a work order written for city approval, now this all took place over a 2 to 3 month period, due to COVID19 and slow city response due to COVID19, in which time they had enough time to cancel. Only after the work was completed, and the contract complete, to stop the city from fining them, did they start complaining about the money. There was no misrepresentation on the scope of work or completion time. One last comment on this situation, they filed paperwork to take me to civil court on this matter, I showed up to court and they did not, just shows you how things really went over there."

Paul and his crew did a great job replacing our front porch. He kept us informed on the various stages of the project and was always available if we had any questions. He even helped us with a side project that we needed to get done on the house, while they were working on the porch. I highly recommend H&F Contractors.

Basement Remodeling
Never hire them in the summer, they are more interested in building decks than work within a time frame. Start the basement on July 11, and I'm still trying to get them to come back for the item that are not correct. Had all the material for heated floors and only used 200 sq. ft. for a 600 sq. ft. guess what I do not have now. I have contacted them several times and all I get is I'll come next week. Well it has now been three weeks and we are still waiting.

We initially had another contractor who ended up not showing. I called Paul and he came to the house the same day! He explained everything in detail (including the potential costly mistakes the other contractor had made) and promised he would get the job done. Three days later I have a brand new kitchen and it looks fabulous! He is a man with integrity, honesty, and even generously gave me a price break because of all the hassle I went through. I would recommend H&F Contractors without reservation.

Paul Fuller and his team were simply amazing. Had several bids with varying proposed designs (building deck on top of existing patio) - Paul provided the ideal design and a very reasonable price. We were planning a July 4th event and although unrealistic, hoped that we might get it completed before that date (2 weeks from the date of our contract) - Paul surprisingly indicated that they would work to get it done by that date. In fact, they built our deck in 5 days! There was no compromise on quality and workmanship. The deck is absolutely outstanding to the smallest detail. Our friends were so impressed with the deck and could not believe the transformation from the bare patio. After seeing our deck, our neighbor wanted Paul's contact information for a project at their house. The crew showed up on time to the minute every day and everyone was always polite and friendly. They cleaned up after every day and left everything in perfect condition when the job was completed. Paul and H&F Contractors provided outstanding customer service and quality - I would have no hesitation in recommending H&F for any project - quality is an absolute given. Would give them 6 stars if it was an option.

Contacted Mr. Fuller and was met and advised on my project. Was some problems with city government but he worked thru all. No Problems for me and all was done very well. I would highly recommend him and his crew to anyone. Proud of my new deck.
