Did a very good job... Exactly what we was looking for

I had a handrail installed on our basement stairs. I made an appointment to get an estimate. Mr. Kornbau came looked at the project, gave me an estimate and performed the work on the same day.

Very professional Showed up on time and completed the job in a timely manner. Very pleased!

The railings were installed securely but no attention to detail. The seams are uneven and railings not sanded, left rough in spots. When mentioned, was told nothing could be done after the lacquer was on

He did a great job quickly removing our old railings and installing new ones. They are secure and should provide aesthetic appeal and safety for years to come. For the price and our modest expectations he was a great fit for our project.

We had him install retro fit stair treads and risers. He called the day after we placed our inquiry and installed them within a week. Excellent communication, and workmanship. He really knows what he's doing. Had a party right after it was completed and have received so many compliments!

Arrived on time. Very knowledgeable and knew exactly how to do the work, what materials were required. Exceptionally satisfied.

Gerald was prompt coming out to do an estimate for handrails in a stairwell to our basement. We thoroughly discussed what I was looking for, type of rails, supports, etc. When I decided to hire him, he managed to do the job in a reasonable time. I was hoping to get the rails in by Thanksgiving and he was able to do it with time to spare. The original railing was only on one side, was put in in the 80's, and didn't last long because it was never secured. Gerald put in heavy duty railing on both sides, strong supports, a pressure treated 4x4 to match the one that existed from the old railing on one side. The two railings are strong, sturdy, and perfect for me (bad ankle) and my mother (in her 70's) to safely go up and down the stairs. He cleaned up everything when he was finished. The cost was more than reasonable. I was expecting this job to cost a lot more. He was professional and courteous. I'd recommend this company to anyone.
