Handy Air installed my HVAC system in August 2024. In May 2026, the system froze up and stopped cooling. After several attempts to get service, I was charged $200 to repair what was diagnosed as a loose Schrader valve. The system began leaking refrigerant again the very next day. I was then given a different diagnosis and told the leak couldn?t be found and that replacing the line set for approximately $2,500 was recommended. After pulling back the insulation myself, I found a pinhole leak in a brazed joint at the outdoor condenser connection and sent photos to the technician. After continued delays and missed appointments, I hired another HVAC company. They confirmed the leak was an improperly brazed installation joint, repaired it, and restored the system to proper operation. My concerns are the changing diagnoses, the failed $200 repair, missed appointments, and lack of follow-through.

Bought a new AC at a 10 year warranty less than a month ago and now my AC is not working and the business is no longer in service. Now I have a loan on a broken AC with no service. They got fine and they screwed all their customers and went out of business with anyone who has warranties. Horrible people to do this to other others. Hope they get what's coming to them. *** Now they are saying that they were never closed. I have a text from the rep who I worked with to installed my AC, confirming he moved to another company since HandyAir was closed. My loan company also confirmed as well as SEVERAL phones call all through out January. The coldest months and my AC was broken due to HandyAir faulty installation and then disappearing until just now. If they were temporary closed, they should have let all their PAYING customer know how to call in the interim. I do not like be called a liar online when I KNOW you were closed.

I found this company and called them after I saw the reviews. The dispatcher was amazing. They asked me questions to understand what I need. I scheduled a tech to come out and he was very informative. He explained the system to me in a way I could understand. They recommended a new unit for me. He talked to me like a human and not just someone who they could get money out of. I went through their financing and had the unit installed in a couple of days. The installer was efficient and CLEAN. This whole progress was amazing and I have recommended them to everyone I know. I highly recommend them.
