Mr. Andy performed his job exceptionally well. He arrived as scheduled, respectful and polite. I’m glad he was the handyman that made the my Bed Frame assembly. Andy’s performance was amazing and his work was rapidly growing in the process of building the bed. I recommend Andy extremely highly!

Andy did an excellent job with several projects in my home. He fixed a small issue in the bathroom, repaired the wall, and mounted my TV on the wall. I hired Handy Andy Miami, Inc. on 07/09/21 to do a complete redo of drywall work on my new house. The work is as started on 07/11/21 with 50% deposit and scheduled to be completed on 07/16/21. Unfortunately the worked performed was done improperly and mostly delayed due to workers not showing up and eventually requested for an extra week. I called Andy, the owner of Handy Andy Miami, Inc. on 07/21/21 to advise that the workers were not onsite again and would further delay the work as most of the work was still pending and unfinished. I also advised Andy that his employee, Leo Jarquin, who had been performing the work, advised that he had other jobs to attend to and could not show up at the site as scheduled during various days of that week between 07/12/21 and 07/16/21 and had the same excuse for that day of 07/21/21. I proceeded to explain this further delay of work to Andy, during our call on 07/21/21 and Andy agreed that the work would be finished by 07/24/21. After the agreement on the finish date during our above mentioned phone call on 07/21/21 at 9:11am, Andy, the owner of Handy Andy Miami, Inc. then proceeded to insult me personally and threatened me with violence and also advised that he would put a Lien on my property without any basis for his threats or reason since almost 50% ($3,700) of the agreed total amount was paid before the job was started and the remaining balance would be paid upon completion of work as originally agreed. I tried to reason with Andy from Handy Andy Miami, Inc. and ask that he be more understanding regarding the delay of work and not insult me or threaten me at all at which time Andy advise that current work would be stopped and Handy Andy Miami, Inc. will not be fulfilling the rest of their duties as originally agreed and no more work would be performed going forward. Due to Andy s stop of work notice from Handy Andy Miami, Inc. compiled with his aggressive and violence ridden threatening tactics, the contract for this work is hereby was terminated by me. The fact that Andy from Handy Andy Miami, Inc. refused to cooperate, fulfill his duties as agreed, insulted me and threatened me with violence and legal procedures makes this individual and company a tragedy for the industry and should never be allowed to work with anyone else. Angi should do a better job running background checks for these individuals and companies as I m sure this is not the first time Handy Andy Miami, Inc. has done this and would most surely do it again. Please do all possible to remove this company as a a recommended servitor and advise all other customers of his illegal, abusive, threatening and violent tactics.
