Be prepared to prepay for the work. I think that on the whole it was a good not great experience. He did all the jobs that I requested including one with recessed lighting that was difficult but everything was done to my tenants satisfaction.

"I do not require prepayment unless I see signs of trouble ahead such as dealing with rental management companies, absent landlords and a tenant who has expressed misgivings about her landlords maintenance practices ... all of which together signal potential problems. This landlord had promised her tenant repairs over one year ago and were not performed. In all of the jobs I have performed I have only asked for deposits for materials or full payments less than 5 times. I had to visit 3 times to complete the job since recess lights were old and would not come out due to deterioration. Finally they did and I was able to purchase the correct bul"

Andy said yes to a job that many handy men said no to because it cannot be done ! We were moving, and our landlord wanted us to fix a door, which is very hard work! All handymen told us the same, that we have to buy a new door... which isn t easy because it s a custom size and we had a limited time! Andy s first response was piece of cake ! We were so surprised, almost apprehensive and worried.... but we figured we d give him a try! We re so relieved we did! He saved us, not to mention he left us with material in case of an emergency.... and he is a very nice man who offered to be an expert witness even in case of anything! He is wonderful and I d recommend him to anyone!

we hired Andy for a few things , among them was refinishing 2 door frames, powerwash our roof & driveway. He works in a organized & clean manner which is not the usual with handymans. He always responded to our messages when we had any questions. we will be calling him back to tackle other projects at our home soon.

This man has the worst work ethics I have ever come across. Does not know the first thing on the concept of payment or time management. He expects to have full payment before the job is completed. I would not recommend using him ever.

"Mabel did not pay for completion of the job and threatened me with a lawsuit prior to termination of the job. The distributor failed to deliver the material on time and she blamed me for the theft which was documented with AAA COOPER Transportation case number. She then proceeded to account for the cost of my supplies as if she was my partner in a business and demanded a refund. I stated she would have to pay the remainder of the invoice in order to complete the installation. Note that my invoice is due upon receipt and I gave her four stages to pay. It's a travesty to work with narrow-minded people who think they can audit my cost of operation."

"Initiative is measured by the creativity you put in fixing a job. I took the initiative of dismantling a closet door for it to be able to not touch the floor. A door that should be replaced as per my suggestions. I took the initiative of leaving clamps on another door which splintered and needed overnight glue to be able to work. I took the initiative of fixing a water intrusion problem not on the agenda. I was there on time. I took the initiative of going to Home Depot to get the required hardware to fix the door mechanism which on a multimillion-dollar condo was grossly missing and not secure. The next day I was on my way to a vacation and could not return until a week later. All the items to be taken care of were done to completion. The only thing left was to come back and hang the closet door which needed glue and anyone could do that."
