Ended up not needing his services and when he contacted me and found out I used someone else he was courteous and respectful instead of being angry and ticked off. For the way he handled that alone I have to give him a great rating

Excellent work. Showed up on time and was ready to do needed work.

The best thing he did was hang a ceiling fan, but did not wire it for 2 switches. The tapestry he hung was all bunched up, he didn't use the third bracket. Did put the headboard on, although I believe there were some brackets to attach underneath. Hung two pictures, 1 correctly, the other not so much. But the worst is, he told me he could not find the instructions to put together the kitchen island. The next day, I printed some, but found the originals in the box. Funny how the hardware packets had the counts on them, he also told me all the pieces were all there (on the instructions). I believed what he said and paid him for everything he wanted, the day he was here. He did offer to take less, but felt sorry for him since he didn't have instructions! A big ripoff of a widowed woman!

SO FAR, he is yet to complete the project. Ive just hired him. He was very informed and educated about the product to be placed in my home and what is going to be required to actually do the job. So thx. FYI I would recommend HomeAdvisor to anyone. It was so easy and I hired the first contractor that I spoke with. It worked out perfectly so thx again

James knows how to do many things. He installed a water system that plumbers did not want to take on. He laid sod in my yard (correctly). He did small jobs that other handymen did not want to do (hanging curtain rods, assembling items, etc.) His prices are very good. He is easy to communicate with.

Buy supplies ahead of time.
