"I?m sorry that you feel that way. First off I charge by the job not the hour and all of my estimates are for labor only, so if I charge $200 to install a flush kit and I run into problems and it takes me 5 hours and several trips to the hardware store the price is still $200. The toilet needed a complete flush kit which involves removing the back tank to replace the flapper valve and this is generally my starting price for everyone. Both the kitchen and bathroom sink needed the complete drain system from the wall to the sink replaced as they were old, rusty and leaking. There were 2 doors that needed to be rekeyed and I usually charge more fo"
"I was upfront with the cost of the installation. I tell all my customers that the price I quote is for installation only. All parts and materials are extra. I done all I could to fix the leak but there is too much pressure on the lines and it really needs a pressure regulator on the main line, but as the customer stated she did not want to reduce the pressure."
