Following the storm damage, you contacted us regarding broken fence posts that had failed at ground level. During our discussions, we reviewed multiple repair options. A full post replacement, which involves removing fence sections and excavating the existing posts, was available and was in fact performed on the two gate posts at the front of the property. For the rear fence line, however, you expressed concerns about having fence panels removed for an extended period and about disturbing the neighboring property behind the fence. Based on those concerns, we recommended using Simpson Strong-Tie EZ Mender brackets as the least invasive repair option. This allowed the fence to be secured quickly without extensive excavation or disruption to adjacent areas. This repair method was discussed and approved prior to installation. When you later contacted us with concerns, I reiterated that we stand behind our workmanship and warranty. If there is a warrantable issue with the repair we performed, we remain willing to inspect and address it. We understand that not every customer will be completely satisfied. However, we believe it is important to note that the repair completed was the option selected and approved after discussing the available alternatives, including full post replacement.
