When I spoke with owner Mark to discuss multiple non-related projects as part of a home update, he gave me confidence that the projects would be in skilled and dedicated hands. He explained how he would approach each one and the best one on his team to handle each aspect of the total job. I clearly understood how much time it would take and the cost commitment. His was patient with my many questions and there was no hard sell or effort to move me to do additional work that was not necessary. Everyone I worked with was just so good in their area of expertise, very pleasant to interact with and went the extra mile to ensure that I was satisfied with their work. Mark accomplished the impossible in organizing in a unique way all the wires and cables for a complex camera security system, PC, router, wi-fi and printer. A giant step beyond simply gathering the wires with a zip tie and dropping them on the floor, his technique made all the mass of wires neat and tidy. Painting, minor construction and general handyman tasks were also completed. Staff was polite and friendly, worked quickly and did a fantastic job of cleaning up. Amy manages office operations and was so accommodating and helpful to work with, just a joy of a person. Everyone makes you feel valued as a customer. Major kudos to David and James for their positive attitude and stellar work performance. They are just the best. I highly recommend Handyman Connection of McKinney and Frisco.
UPDATE: Recently had several tasks completed by Handyman Connection including replacing a soft-close hinge on a kitchen cabinet and adding LED lighting to a display case. David did a perfect job on both, he really is a craftsman. My LVP flooring in some areas is beginning to peak slightly. Jordan evaluated the problem and provided several options. I was impressed with his depth of knowledge and he certainly has that Handyman Connection ‘can do’ spirit. When I need his skill level, I will call Jordan to do the work. As he was leaving, he replaced 3 bulbs in an area that is hard for me to reach. Now that is value added.

Jordan did a great job replacing the bamboo flooring around my leaking toilet. He also replaced the leaking wax ring that caused the problem in the first place.
During the estimation process, he set expectations on potential best and worst case scenarios. And once the work began, he was great at giving regular updates and provided some good tips on advice on how to monitor and prevent this from happening again.

We had a broken bathtub faucet and called to schedule a repair. They were able to schedule it for the same day. Jordan came out and diagnosed it very quickly and went to Home Depot to get the part and fixed it perfectly. He was very professional and friendly and knowledgeable. So glad we have found this company to help us with odds and ends and problems around our house!

Very friendly staff, but did not match the grout appropriately in one of the bathrooms when replacing a tile. Now it bothers me every time I go in there and looks as if it has dirty/stained around the toilet. Wish this could be touched up and matched appropriately. Also, certain area in other bathroom where grout was not smoothed out.

I highly recommend this company! My initial phone call was answered promptly and an appointment was made to have curtain rods hung in three rooms. I was told Kevin would be my installer and he arrived promptly on time. Kevin hung the rods perfectly and even put up the drapes for me! I will have Kevin come back to install hardware on my kitchen cabinets as well as the master bath cabinets and hall bath cabinets. I am so happy to have found this company that I can trust to complete all the projects that I can no longer do on my own!

By using these guys you are taking a chance of being over charged. Any job with a problem or any complication they will contract it out. I paid $517 for a two-hour job, with material cost was only $117 out of that amount. The total was $557, they took fifty dollars of when I said the price was too high. I was still charged almost $200 per hour labor.

We are extremely please with the work done by David of Handyman connection. He is a real craftsman and a perfectionist when it comes to the work he does. We had French doors and a glass transom installed in our den and the finished project more than met our expectations. We would definitely go with David and Handyman Connection of McKinney for our next project.
