The project will have to be completely redone. The door was not framed appropriately: it does not open completey, it does not close, and the frame is not sound (there is no header). The new $180 door will have to be replaced, and the 6 hours of paid work is lost. This mistake cost me $360

Rick was very nice, showed up on time and cleaned up his mess which scored big points with the lady of the house! He worked on ceramic tile in a bathroom and although he cut the tile well the mortar for the tile was way too thin and as a result 2 tiles loosened from the floor and the wall tiles were much closer to the wall surface than the tiles previously installed by the homeowner. This created the wall to look uneven. He also installed a small sheet of drywall to a corner and did not use drywall tape (only mud) to join the corner which is a concern of ours. Overall, he was good for a handyman but next time I think we would look for those who specialize in their trade (aka: drywall installer, tile installer, electrician, trim carpenter, etc.).
