Handyman Hero, Inc.

Excellent, quick work.

I have hired Young for numerous projects throughout the years and he has never disappointed me! He has done both large scale and small projects for me from tiling bathrooms, repairing wood rot, plumbing issues, drywall repair... you name it, he has repaired it for me! He is very prompt, courteous and very easy to get in contact! I live overseas and can always rely on Young. I would definitely not hesitate to continue to hire him for future projects!

Excellent Job! Mr. Choi repaired and restored an old double exterior entry door that required patching a variety dings and holes, changing hinges and inner door metal linings as well as painting the outer and inner door sides different colors. He also replaced the door pilasters and painted the mantle and entry step. The overall price was reasonable for high quality work performed. The reason I selected Handyman hero, after a long search, was because of the detail and thoroughness described in the scope of work compared to other companies. Mr. Choi delivered on his promises and I would definitely hire Handyman Hero for future jobs.

He installed a new vanity and a toilet which I had purchased separately on my own. He was happy to consult with my via email before I completed the purchases, advised me of what extra parts I would need and was generally very helpful. I bought the vanity knowing there was going to be a slight problem with the fit over the old tile and I expected to just have to deal with it myself after he had finished his job. However, he had a great idea of how to handle the issue and had it looking perfect before he left. The charge for the unexpected extra work was very reasonable. I've kept his card and if next time I have need of any of the services he provides, I will definitely call him.

Young Choi and his experienced team completely remodeled 2 bathrooms in our church's 75 year old original parsonage. We recommend Handyman Hero highly and would not hesitate to work with Young again. The remodeling of our old parsonage's bathrooms was a difficult job and the work was performed in a professional, considerate, and skilled manner.

Fast and high quality service. The guys don't shy away from small jobs. A little pricey

Excellent! Mr. Choi Is a true professional, knows his trade and takes whatever time is needed to complete the job in a satisfactory manner! Hire Handyman Hero without hesitation. You will be glad you did!

We have used Mr.Choi's services multiple times and he has always delivered the best.

Handyman Hero is my go-to company for home repair projects. Whether its replacing the front-door stoop, replacing my shutters, replacing my door seal, fixing my deck, repairing exterior wood molding, or painting; Handyman Hero always does each job professionally, efficiently and for a fair price. I would highly recommend Handyman Hero for any project--big or small. Handyman Hero does outstanding work and especially pays close attention to detail. You will be highly satisfied!

Stuck to his estimate which was quite reasonable. Completed the work efficiently and professionally. Installed three interior doors which all required considerable planing so it was not an easy job. Very satisfied with the quality of his work. Would definitely hire him again.

I am very pleased with his work, and he is wonderful to work with!

Mr.Choi was very prompt, professional and knowledgeable! Our project to replace interior doors was done very well. We look forward to future prospects

Choi was to put new faucets on an old pedestal sink. In order to install the new faucets, he had to take the pedestal sink a part which is 2 sections, the pedestal, and the sink. He successfully put the new faucets on the sink but could not put the pedestal and sink back against the wall. Admittedly, there is very tight space but if it was done before, he should be able to do it as well. So I had to hold the very heavy sink while he aligned the drain pipe and pedestal against the wall which is tiring as I am 65 years old. After a total of 5 hours and it was late, it was 9 pm, he said, he could not put the pedestal sink back against the wall. He then packed his tools and left and I have to but either a new pedestal sink that is wider or a basin that shows the exposed pipes. Do you know why people buy pedestal sinks? It is because this is a very small powder room with just a sink and toilet and the pedestal hides the pipes. Narrow cabinet vanities and sinks at 24 wide are difficult to find at local box stores or have to be ordered. With Handyman Hero (Choi) I never know what will work or not work. He is very negative. I also noticed that on a website it states his license is expired but I am too busy to check if it is true or not. If there is any plumber that knows how to reinstall the pedestal sink, that would be great. Right now, I have my powder room torn up and a sink with nice new faucets sinking on the floor apart with the pedestal on the side and this man does not answer my texts.

Great work and affordable.

Young Choi replaced three window sills and three small panels at the bottom of the bay window. He and his helper spent 11 hours to do the job. It looked like a quality job with attention to details. They cleaned the site. Overall we are satisfied with the job done. One thing I didn't like was that after negotiating the price (over the phone with the detailed pictures sent to him), Young tried to renegotiate using different pretexts. This is something to keep in mind if you want to hire Handyman Hero, but I don't think it deserves removing stars from the overall rating.

The quality of their work was excellent!

Very polite man, respects appointments. Very reasonable rates. Very good job Started on time and finish on time Highly recommended I will use him again

GREAT work

Did an excellent job re-hanging a 2nd floor shutter. Will hire again. And cost was much lower than what had been quoted by other big outfits that said. We have a minimum charge of $250

They responded with in minutes of me requesting a handyman. They were at my place within the hour. Job was completed in no time. Hung up a 47lbs mirror. Satisfied customer.

Overall nice guy. However, i didn't feel that he was fully knowledgeable about one of the fixes (toilet) were needed. I've had a couple people check outv the issue and all said it was a minor fix (which i knew but just wasn't sure how to fix). He told me that we needed to replace the entire flushing system which would cost over $300 for 1 toilet. No go. He also did another job of replacing our outlet covers with baby safe ones. Charged us $100 only to realize after he left that he didn't do all the outlets requested and left the screws on the floor in front of several (baby hazard). He also replaced the rooting wood under our doors threshold with concrete...only to have the door now be hard to open/close. hoping the winter cold with cause some contraction of concrete for some relief but concerned it might expand even more next summer. Asked him to replace shower door but wanted to know if doable without damage the surrounding ceramic tile. He said he could do it, but when asked how (several times) we never got a definite answer. Was not going to take that risk. Gave him some small projects as a test to see how things would go. Didn't go so well.

Very good work and quick. Thanks.

They did a great job. Saved us money by saving parts and reusing them. He did the job better than I would. He treated our home like it was his.

Did an excellent job. Would definitely hire again.
