Handyman Heros - Unlicensed Contractor

Scammers, Untrustworthy, Liars, overcharging , always late, did not provide contract, not honoring written texts or oral agreement, virulent Anti-Homosexual LGBTQ , left area filthy and ignored communications for payment due to damages done, left huge gapping ceiling bathroom holes, cut more than agreed to . Bottom line avoid at your own request

I hired HH to refinish floors and paint an apartment. The estimate was competitive and I hired them. The workmanship was generally good, especially the painting. When it came time for the bill, they upcharged me 65% saying the original estimate excluded trim and doors. When I showed the foreman, Jairo, our text exchange confirming that the estimate DID include trim and doors, he just didn't care. Of course I could fight it but the painters did good work and I feel bad that they work for an outfit like this.

We were in crunch-time when we contacted Jairo Landaverde of Handyman Heroes. Our new homeowners policy required repair of our dining room ceiling, a large hole left by a previous contractor, by midnight, 6/11/19. On 6/6/19 and 6/10/19, Jairo was there with an assistant and made a seamless repair of the ceiling - complete with a perfect paint color match. The work was expertly done and completed on time. We are very grateful to him.

Did a good job!

Work was done fast & good. Cleanup was good. I thought I might have been overcharged a little. They gave me a flat rate which I accepted but work was done very quickly. I might have done better with an hourly quote.

Bill presented on completion not what we had agree to.Also submitted invoices for tools although I had agreed to pay only for material. Not trustworthy.

Jairo is a nice person but I am not happy with the job they did. Install ikea cabints and range hood.

Handyman Hero did a great job, they showed up on time and even with the job taking a few days and me not always being there...my job was taken care of. Good job!

Jairo responded very quickly to my email, came out and gave an estimate, explained what he would do and what was included. Finished and cleaned up, left place better than when he started. I'm very happy with the work.

The response from Jairo is pretty quick within a few minutes after I pushed the button. It is finished on time and a very nice person I think. Will recommend in the future project.

Good value and fast

Jairo did a great job replacing an IKEA sink cabinet, fixing a broken heat vent, installing interior and exterior lights. But 2 of the guys that he brought to clean and regout my bathrooms did a terrible jobs and Jairo wasn't onsite to supervise them that day. They chipped the tiles in my bathroom badly and didn't really remove any gout stains. They just didn't have the right tools nor the skills to regout. I have to stop them in the middle after checking their work. Also, one of his guy didn't install the dead bolt lock correctly but the good thing is Jairo was able to fix it the next day. Overall, I would hire Jairo again if he is the one doing the work or avail onsite to supervise his men.

Response for the estimate was prompt, however day work was scheduled they were an hour late and I had to call them. Communication was difficult at times. Thought he price was a little high.

Jairo gave me a good quote for a small painting job. His helper appeated promptly the next day, worked diligently and completed a first rate job. I would strongoly recommend Handy Man Heroes . Dale A. San Francisco

Built a level wooden platform for a washer and dryer that sat on a heavily sloping garage floor. Arrived on time with the right materials and tools, and did a great job.

Jairo called me almost immediately when I put the bit on HomeAdvisor and was at my house in less than 24 hours. He looked over the projects, gave me a very reasonable quote, and completed everything in a short amount of time. I'd highly recommend him: he is a Handyman Hero!

I was pleased with Jairo's work. He was on time, professional, and efficient.

They did good work: repairing sheet rock in garage, paint touch ups in garage and hallway, and fixing a garage door. They managed to get the paint matched too. They were clean and efficient. I am having them back to resurface my counters.

Guys were here and on time! They finished the work quickly and cleaned up so there was no mess when they were done. They installed cabinets in our laundry area, fixed a patio door, fixed a cabinet door, and other little things. I would hire them again definitely!
