He did not tell me the price upfront, after he finished the job, he told me what I owed. I really through the price was high, but paid him.

We had our front door stripped and refinished. This was supposed to be a one day job - due to weather our door was taken off site. It was not returned until almost a month later. VERY poor communication throughout the whole process. Phone calls were not returned and the re installation of our door had to be rescheduled on 4 or 5 different occasions. I repeatedly asked about the price only to be told the numbers will still being run. When we finally got our door back the bill was TWICE the amount of the estimate. When my husband spoke to Steve he agreed to meet us half way on the bill. Pleased with the door, but are unimpressed overall.

It seems that the company has had a name change to "Handyman Matters" out of Ipswitch NH. I was quite pleased with the services provided. There was 5-6 separate jobs, each of which did not justify a contractor. The Handyman Matters representative was very courteous and capable. I would most certainly be happy to have them do work in the future. MR
