Overall the project was completed to our satisfaction. The reason for the low rating was that they had to call in more sr. people to do the work as the first couple guys didn't do it properly. I was happy with the new crew but wish they would've just started with that team.

I did feel it was a little bit expensive. A call back had to happen but that was not negligence - he did an amazing job on the bathroom. The kitchen - he repaired, he tested and everything looked great. The dishwasher was tricky! It would drain correctly on the first cycle but by the fourth cycle water went everywhere. The second plummer fixed everything.

Bathroom - Remodel
There was a detail of getting the 2 toilets delayed the project. Then there was the first placement of a shower door kit that was very much less then satisfactory. The shower door install took several attempts. The door did not contain all the hardware and then some of the hardware was not available. When the door was placed it did not fit and fell off the the tracks. There was a new door installed that was a 200% improvement. Peter was great on the reinstall and correction of the issues I had. I believe the home owner needs to be 100% present during the work.

It was a bathroom floor repair. Looked at it and explained what needed to be done and did what he said he would do. Arrived on time, easy to work with, knowledgeable, professional and work was well done. Did not waste time.

Bathtub Liner or Shower Surround - Install or Replace
I was quoted over the phone that it would take 4-6 hours to install a new bathtub. I asked if they could come out and look at what needed to be done a get a quote on the time and they said no they do enough of these that they do not need to come out. I removed the old tub and all of the tile and sheetrock surrounding the tub. I also carried the new tub up to the bathroom. All that needed to be done was install the new tub and it took him over 9 HOURS. The only reason I am giving them 2 stars is because they came out the Friday after Thanksgiving. I will NEVER use this company agian.

there was no on site quote, didn't feel comfortable going ahead. They weren't very professional. Work was competent, but they were too social, and I didn't have an idea of how much it was going to cost until it was done

This company operates on a basis of pay by the hour rather than a one bid covers all. You can also purchase your own materials for which a rough estimate is given. The materials came in quite a bit higher than predicted. I was told prices had gone up quite a bit recently. I was also assured that the number of hours estimated to complete the project was fairly accurate as thye knew how long it took to build a deck. Unfortunately it took quite a bit longer than they said. There was one change, and hours were estimated for that, but the total time went even longer than that. The company did work with me to lower the rate as the hours added up. The deck did turn out well, and we are happy with the final product, but it cost more than we anticipated from the original estimates we were given.

The contractors were very nice and trustworthy. The job took about 3 times longer than quoted and a few times the contractors were sent to other jobs while they were still completing ours, which was frustrating. Overall they did a great job when it came to construction type work (our bathroom needed to be completely gutted due to water damage) but did not do as good of a job at finish work, like tiling. I would recommend them as a whole as I felt they were very trustworthy and willing to work with us to reduce costs, such as allowing us to buy supplies.

Jan seemed very knowledgeable and helpful. I told him my primary concern was not beginning the project until he had located a source for the same oak flooring. He informed the workman assigned the job that the flooring was available at Dunn Lumber. So work began and I rushed out to get the 16sq ft of flooring. Unfortunately, Dunn L. didn't have it and had never had it. Luckily for me someone at DL called around town and found a place in Woodinville that sold it (wholesale), so Dunn bought it and I was able to pick it up (but I had to buy 50sq ft). Floor looks great, but the job was not anxiety free &12 hrs was a bit much given the tasks.
