I hired Handyman Matters to clean my gutters - a few days later they were clean and all the debris was removed. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again!

I am a Realtor in the East Bay area of SF. I have used another handyman service prior to Handyman Matters. While I was quite happy with the other companies service, I found them to be quite expensive and usually not immediately available when I have needede service. Handyman Matters is very reasonable with their pricing and have been quite responsive with getting a person onsight for the job ASAP.

Chris from Handyman Matters was clearly a seasoned professional who came to advise me on how to handle a problematic 50 yr. old aluminum/glass sliding patio door. His advice - trying to fix it would be a mistake, wait until you can afford to replace it - made perfect sense and was based on experience. He refused any offer of payment for his time, preferring to trust that I would call him again when I have actual work for him. I was prepared to pay for professional advice, and instead got it for free. Amazing.

These people are great. They were recommended by a co-worker�they built a deck for him�but I needed interior electrical (lights) and sheetrock work. NO PROBLEM!!! I was a bit wary of the "time and materials" but the final price was $875 compared to a $1200 "bid" from another handyman. And they�re always there to answer the phone and call back when they say they will. I felt safe and I�ll DEFINITELY use them again. Thanks Service Magic!

Drywall Repair
There business practices were unethical as we were given a price for the job in which we both agreed upon. After the work was completed they nearly tripled the price. They are in violation with section 7159 of the California State Contractor's licensing board. I am filing a complaint with the CSLB. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THERE SERVICE TO ANYONE!
