James Taylor is not licensed or insured. He lied and said he was. He registered after I called him out. First day on the job, he said it would be a short day and would be back after an appt. Did not come back. Worked 3 hours. Took video inside my home and posted it to social media without any consent. Refuses to take it down. After cutting a hole in the subfloor too big, the shower pan had a foot fitting below the subfloor, along with the drain. Told him to stop and requested the sub floor to be fixed. He refused. Was told the foot is only put there if there was a subfloor beneath it, it won?t bother or hurt the pan since it is not sitting on the subfloor. I wanted to discuss it in person; he quit the job, packed and left in a hurry. He has threatened me. Had to get a professional plumber?s opinion and one from a licensed/insured contractor. DO NOT RECOMMEND! He also smoked weed while on the job! My house smelled terrible!

Having made a specific date and time for the work to be done but the contractor didn't show up and didn't called ang text to let me know that they're not coming. I've taken all those knobs and everything off because he was going to replace that too but no one showed.

James was very quick to get me an itemized estimate and was flexible getting me on his calendar. My project kept throwing us curveballs, but James was excellent at communicating the problems and would have options/solutions with costs along the way and explained everything in terms I could understand. The porch/steps are sturdy and solid, which was exactly what I needed for my high traffic area.
