Handymen of the High Country

Where do I start! If I could give a ZERO I would. First I hired this company to renovate my small bathroom in a vacation condo and he had me slated for 4/21/22 and they finally started 4/29/22 and it took dead on 3 weeks to get the job finished. I wont say done because i have to fix things they left behind. First off pics in no particular order. I was supposed to get a recess for shampoo, the 23 year old unsupervised worker left out, so we agreed on tile shelves and i got some cheap replacement and both were supposed to be on same wall and that didnt happen. they put up the mirror, light and vanity before prep and paint to the wall and all that had to come down to paint and beside vanity they didn't put the trim back and i dint know what they were think when they painted and virtual no prep to the wall. Dust left behind, wall plates left off, the tub pieces were supposed the be matte black but they are the bronze type (I will have to replace), chipped wall putting up towel rack left it, silicone left on shower door inside and out with trash in it, pex or cpvc used for tub spout and i had to tell the main guy that wasn't correct brought to my attention when the unsupervised worker said the tub spigot wouldn't tighten up. Look at the 2 videos of that repair spigot was loose and only 2 screw holding it stable, parts of the caulk job look good but other area there was no concern put into it, tile were cut wrong (oh well dab more caulk) areas not smoothed over. Oh of the 20 mins total the owner popped in and yes approved all this work he decided to be a comedian and wave at my camera instead of making sure his trainee was doing things correct. He also trimmed the tile out on my front porch are and left tile spray all over the vinyl and pickets not once cleaned it off. Lastly I arrived to my condo on a Saturday and sent a quick text with some of these issues and yes non-responsive owner whos communication was crap never replies and this morning see google review

Did not anything about this business except for a couple of reviews that were not flattering. I took a chance and met with owner Adam. Iâ m extremely happy I did. He was reliable. He did NOT over promise and he DID over perform. His crew is young but knowledgeable beyond their years, professional and polite. I am hiring this business again for even larger projects. And btw, he was the ONLY entity listed on Angie list to even contact me immediately and willing to do the work in a timely fashion! I highly recommend Handyman of the Highlands!!

Adam met immediately with me and quoted the job quickly. Painters were on the job with in a day. The paint crew was polite, respectful and cleaned up well each day. Work quality was great. I would definitely recommend Handy Men of the High Country.

They took on a job that they obviously did not have the skills to do well. A privacy fence on sloping land ended up looking like something in a Dr. Seuss book. I would provide photos if this site would take them.

The worst company I have ever dealt with Poor communication sloppy pathetic work. I would not recommend them to anyone. Unfortunate because I paid in advance for work still waiting for for 6 months. First it was weather then ?

This company is a well oiled machine!! They came they saw they delivered! . Nice team...Brian scheduled us and started on time and ended the day he projected AMAZING. and then there is BEN the bathroom renovator extraordinaire!!! He is a true craftsman . Great to work with , insightful suggestions, and extremely talented in tiling, painting carpentry just about everything. We highly recommend the Handymen of the High Country and will use them for future renovations.

Brian scheduled us sooner that I thought which was a plus. they had to finish on time because this is a rental - and they did as promised. They were always very responsive. The work was fantastic (thank you Ben). The shower looks beautiful and adds quite a bit of value to our home. I would recommend their services to anyone in need of a recommendation.

Adam and his foreman Brian and crew were FANTASTIC! WE are so fortunate to have found them. They remodeled two bathrooms for us, complete remodels, with plumbing, electric and they did a beautiful and professional job. I cried when I saw the results, everything was even better than what I imagined. They were on time, responsive, professional and always checked with us about our budget. Again, we were so lucky to find them and already have plans for further remodeling projects to be done. They also did a fantastic job with painting and removing popcorn ceilings and wallpaper! Again, just a FABULOUS company.
