Hang Time CA - Unlicensed Contractor

This guy Jake is a dolt Do not hire hem. We set an appt for Thursday at 12:;pm..No show so called him at 2:30 and no response Next day he called. He came over--no booties and a mask which he took off. I had a list but the important thing was to replace an old Toto toilet part. I had the part from Amazon. While doing that he broke off the angle stop and the water flooded the bathroom floor. I gave him towels and he shut off water to house. He said he needed to get a new angle stop But He had told me previously he did not know how to replace them. I told him to get his friend who is a licensed plumber to fix it. 4/12 hrs later it was repaired and I paid him $100. which he said to just add to the other things he was going to do. I said no and paid him. I would never ever hire him again. I think your 5-star ratings on this guy are fakes.

Jake was excellent, was really easy to work with, came out quickly, and always responded quickly. I appreciated that he listened to what I needed and he added his expertise to get what I wanted done efficiently. He was able to get everything done that I asked for and the finished product looks really great.
