Hanson-Carlen Construction, Inc.
About us
Hanson-Carlen Construction is a family- owned business that has built in the Spokane area for 25 years. Dewey Hanson started the business upon moving here from the Midwest, having spent the previous 25 years in custom home construction. He and his brothers Lyle and Wesley started working alongside their father in the 1940's, so the current owners, Dewey's two sons and one son-in-law, are third generation builder/owners. Dana, Dave and Tom are all highly skilled master carpenters who have been working in construction since their early teens. Most projects that you can dream up- one of the owners has already thought through and built for one of our other clients. We have all heard the phrase, "They don't make them like they used to." The partners have learned alongside of the two generations who have built these classic homes. Combine the old school with constant reading of trade magazines and manuals of the latest construction methods, and you have the owners of Hanson Carlen. Each partner has extensive training in planning, drawing, and size and space requirements. They can help you decide: Will this look good? or What product should I use here? Let our experience and honesty be put to work for you.
