Hardwood Alchemy is an NYC-based woodworking firm delivering custom woodwork, fine furniture, & built-ins - a family owned and operated business. We complete every step of the process - from lumber selection & design to delivery of completed woodworking projects. All milling, shaping, sanding and finishing occur at our shop in Bronx, NYC. With an unwavering commitment to quality, precision, and meticulous craftsmanship, we create exquisite wooden pieces that transcend functionality and transform spaces into works of art. Chris (our founder & co-owner) began woodworking professionally as a 2nd career - after 14 years of Manhattan-based work in Finance & Consulting. He has a deep appreciation for the importance of maintaining robust client relationships while delivering premium-quality work. Hardwood Alchemy serve clients in both the design & creation of pieces, including free-standing furniture, built-ins, cabinet boxes, tables, doors, etc.
