"Thanks, Tony for the review. Appreciate the work and meeting you!"
"Thank you so much for this review, Alexa. I am glad you and your husband are pleased with the outcome of the work that was installed. Please reach out to me if you need anything or have any projects in the future. Hope you and your family are doing well! - Jay."
"Thank you Dian for your review. You and Glen have been a pleasure to work with and thank you for your patience with scheduling. Excited to finish out the first phase strong and move on to your flooring!"
"Thank you for this review, Michael. There is a lot you brought up and a lot we obviously do not agree with. Hence why our agreement was terminated. Harebell Home will do our best to answer the questions and respond to your accusations below. 1. "Lack of management": From our first meeting for the free estimate Harebell Home was responsible for everything from the initial consultation, estimating, rough draft drawings of the basement layout, lining up the initial subcontractors, and meeting with them on-site to go over everything (i.e. framer, HVAC, plumber, and electrician), material count and costs, ordering materials, deliveries, scheduling, renting the porta-john and more. All of which was handled before and after our agreement was signed. We signed the agreements on June 8, 2021. The first week of the work starting you and your family were on vacation and we were keeping you updated on what was happening. Within that first week, the work that was accomplished included the water heater movement and rerouting the water lines, HVAC, and 90% of the framing. 2. "Framing passing inspection": You being "worried" that the framing is not going to pass inspection is a lack of understanding about how the whole process works and the industry standards of 1"-3". This is why you hired Harebell Home and subsequently the subcontractors to complete this project within standards. I would applaud you to come back on here after framing inspections with some proof of whether the walls were spaced appropriately. 3. "The water heater is still needing to be replaced": This was outside the agreed scope between you and Harebell Home. You contracted the plumbing contractor Leonardo Mechanical directly. Harebell Home was unaware of your agreement with Leonardos Mechanical invoicing pricing and scheduling. 4. "The AC took over a week to fix": Again, this was outside the agreed scope between you and Harebell Home. You contracted the plumbing contractor Leonardo Mechanical directly. Harebell Home was unaware of your agreement with Leonardos Mechanical invoicing pricing and scheduling. 5. "Communication": Harebell Home subcontracted Leondardos Mechanical 7/9/21 to install HVAC, Plumbing, and Electrical. In the signed agreement between Harebell Home and Leondardo Mechanical all work pertaining to those three trades were to be included in the total amount from rough to finish and divided into three payments, deposit 30%, progress after rough inspection 30%, final 40% due after final inspection. Before the rough inspection was even done, Harebell Home paid Leonardos Mechanical 75% of the total agreed amount. With those funds, Leonardos Mechanical was responsible for paying the HVAC installer, the Plumber, and the Electrician. Harebell Home was not responsible for making sure Leonardos Mechanical was paying their subcontracts with the funds that were paid and supposed to be disbursed. The electrical subcontractor for Leonardos Mechanical was not being paid from Leonardos and reached out to Michael the homeowner looking for payment. Then that same Electrician reached out to Harebell Home directly, resolved the situation, and is currently on great working terms. The problem was Leonardos Mechanical was not paying their subcontractors. 6. "As for inspections": Per a conversation between Michael and Harebell Home, Michael advised Harebell Home that he scheduled the inspections before a Harebell Home representative could go over the work that had been done to ensure the property was ready for inspections. Unbeknownst to Harebell Home, inspections were being scheduled. 7. IN SUMMARY: Documentation from Harebell Home has been sent not only to Michael but the BBB as well. Showing all payments, purchases, etc that were distributed. Harebell Home has no further obligation to this homeowner. The agreement was terminated by the homeowner, with a remaining balance owed to Harebell Home of close to $2,000."
