Harford Appliance Repair Service Inc -

I found Harford Appliance on Home Advisor and called them when my dryer stopped heating. The technician was very polite and diagnosed a defective heating element assembly, costing $280. Since our dryer was only 6 years old and working well otherwise, we opted to have the repair. Five months later, the heating unit stopped working again. When I called Harford Appliance, I was told that since it was beyond 90 days, they were not accountable. I could have another technician come out for an $80 diagnostic fee. Obviously, there was something more wrong with my dryer to cause the same issue to occur only 5 months later, and had it been diagnosed correctly, I would not have wasted almost $300 fixing it, just to have to buy a new one 3 months later.

They were great at communicating, showed up on time, but charged me $200 for a 15-min repair (this was expected begrudgingly) but then a few days later the repair did not work. It was a fridge leak and it started leaking again. I messaged the contractor and told them and never heard back. Guess they took their money and ran. No follow up on whether or not the repair was done the right way.

Customer service is the best. Marty came and told me what I would need, and when the parts came in I received a call and the return appointment was set up. Marty returned on the day arranged, and I am very happy with the repair work he did. He answered all my questions completely, and courteously.

The guys that came were very polite and knew what they were doing. They aren't cheap (but who is nowadays?) but I think worth it to get someone professional to do the job.

Although there ended up being nothing wrong with my dryer (it was an electrical issue), the technician was very thorough in trying to get to the root of the problem.

I hired Harford Appliance Repair Service and I love the customer service. Follow up call to confirm the appointment and a call when the repairman was enroute. Once the repairman came (polite & neatly dressed). I got an explaination of the problem an honest assessment. I would hire this company again.
