Very professional and helpful

Pete did a great job mounting our new TV! He was very knowledgeable and helpful with recommendations. My goal was to hide wires and had no idea how I was going to do it. Pete was able to handle mounting key components behind the tv while running additional cables and power behind the wall so I could "hide" blue ray player and Apple tv in a small cabinet next to my sofa. A great/clean solution that works perfectly when needed! He was also extremely accommodating of my schedule and the living room remodel we were doing. He had to come a couple of times because of the different remodel stages, but he was on time and a true professional with each visit. Great suggestions and great finished product. I HIGHLY recommend Pete and Harmony A/V systems!!

I hired this company to handle 2 universal remote programming jobs. I was quoted on the phone for both remotes. I will not reveal the price quoted on this review. However, I was given the price for one remote and then the price was doubled in the quote provided. I was disappointed that he was late as I travel a lot and not home often so I don't have much luxury to be flexible. He called me 15 mins after the scheduled appt to ask me whether or not we had an appt. When I said "yes, we do and you were supposed be here 15 mins ago". He got to my house about 30 mins later and went to work. As mentioned above I hired the company to program 2 remotes. He programmed one, no problem. I then walked him to the basement and showed him my second tv setup where another universal remote sat ready to be programmed. I went upstairs to work and he stayed down in the basement to (I thought) program this second remote per our agreement. When he emerged I asked if he was all done which he indicated he was. At that point I said "wow that was quick!". I was working from home so (stupid me) I didn't have him run through the commands on the basement remote to make sure the work was actually done. I asked him what the total would be and he confirmed the amount we agreed upon on the phone for 2 remotes and I subsequently wrote the check accordingly. Well, I called him about 10 mins after he left because I had a small issue with the one tv upstairs and he assured me that if I had any problems he'd come back to iron it out. Well, I went down to the basement about 30 mins later to find that none of the commands for the universal remote worked!!!! I know he didn't program it because the old tv commands were still programmed into it!!! I emailed him the same day as the work that was performed and he never got back. I then called him the following week and he never got back, but he managed to squeeze in enough time to cash my check. He did call me back when he saw that I posted a review online that he wanted to discuss. My issue is not with the work performed, but the fact that I was charged for programming of 2 remotes when he did not actually do any work on the 2nd one. I would've expected that if he did not program the 2nd remote for whatever reason he would've quoted me for the work that he actually performed, not charge me for the work that wasn't done as well. The tech and I had a discussion after I posted my initial review on homeadvisor and agreed that he would refund half of my money to reflect the work that he actually completed. In response, I have agreed to edit my review and am honoring that request with this version.

Dan came right on time. He called to confirm appointment. Very pleasant and hung our new 65" tv and hooked up cable and blue ray very easily. He was half the price of another company I contacted. I would recommend to anyone.

Pete was very professional, knowledgable, friendly and polite. He came out the same day that I called for an estimate and scheduled the job within a week (it could have been done sooner but I wasn't available). His work quality was exceptional! And his pricing was very fair. I will be using Harmony Audio/Video Systems again and without hesitation would recommend them to my family and friends. …Long story short - Pete's the kind of professional you hope you find to do your job.

Pete did a great job! The price was competitive with the service timely and professional. The only "Minor" draw back is, because he is good, he is hard to get a hold of. Plan your project some weeks out and give Pete a call. Great Job!
