Work agreed to: 1) level a slope, 2) build stone patio, 3) install fence. Period of performance told by the contractor was 5 days to a week and a half. Work started May 16. By June 3 project was not half complete. Contractor delivered pile of dirt and pile of gravel and railroad ties for retaining walls. Contractor did some work. If reasons given were accurate, then some missing days for medial were reasonable but after three weeks there were several issues: 1) the work was only about halfway complete after three weeks, 2) the slope remained which can't be used since it's needed for a shed, bee hives, and raised beds, 3) the rear retaining wall was already leaning and losing dirt from only one rain. With these concerns I consulted two other landscapers who immediately identified problems with the wall as well as the slope, that it would not hold through one winter. In addition, contractor may not have contacted Digsafe, public utilities, and city public works for permission to proceed with any excavation. I have a lot more details including inconsistent texts

He could not complete the project

Hired them on Aug 11, 2020, and the project is still not done on 12/28/20. Use the excuse of an ongoing pandemic. Promised finished date of mid-September. Said could not get total materials to finish the job because of a pandemic. All they had to do was let me know and I would have changed to a color they could obtain. Worst experience I have ever had hiring a contractor.

I had deck work completed at my residence six months ago. Per the city of Augusta code officer the work was not completed correctly causing damage. After numerous unsuccessful attempts at contacting the contractor who completed the work to fix the issue I have been forced to take legal action. There is currently water leaking into the foundation and I have been told if it is not fixed soon it will cause the wood to rot and or cause mold. Per the code officer the contractor was supposed to use 2 inch foam under the cement that he laid. The current foam is only a quarter of an inch which will eventually cause the deck to shift. There is inadequate floor framing, The post beam is undersized, and there are issues with the handrails and stair depth. I have attached a notice of deficiencies from the code officer. At this point I have lost trust in him completing the deck correctly and would like to be reimbursed plus damages as soon as possible so I can hire a contractor to fix the issues.

The company does not return phone calls or emails after they have your money. The lawn I expected was sparse, lumpy and weedy. Not at all what I was lead to believe when I hired the company. When I tried to contact the company after the job was completed, I had no success. They never returned my calls or texts. I got an amatuer job for a professional price. BEWARE of this one.

Initially, the communication could have been better, but once they started the job, it was fine. The quality of the work was great. They did an excellent job on a difficult and challenging roof. Their price was very good compared to others and I would recommend them to others. They went above and beyond to the job right.

Working with Chet was a very positive experience. He was able to remove my fencing which had blown over from the Halloween storm and install quality wooden fencing in a short amount of time. I would definitely recommend this business.
