Mr. Hawkins is a true professional. When I was looking for someone to hire to do some repairs on my wood fence, he contacted me promptly and then came over to give me an estimate. We agreed on everything to be repaired at a very reasonable price. He started the work this morning and worked until the job was completed. He then let me inspect his work which I was completely satisfied with. He is an expert at what he does and I would highly recommend him to anyone.

He did a wonderful job painting the interior of my home and it was a BIG job. He did his best (time wise), being that he was the only one on his team . I would definitely hire him again.

Do no;t take his experience reliable his 19 years of service have not brought any value and me and my experience with him has been horrible. I'm very disappointed in the work that he's done with him having 23 years of experience. Now I have more problems than before. I hard to find someone else to fix what he messed up. No one else has worked on my door, but Mr. Hawkins. I would definitely not recommend him to anyone!

I have never met one person that can do so many things. All of his work is quality work. Electrical, plumbing, carpentry, drywall, even foundation.

The reason for the poor rating is as follows: 1. When he came to quote he forgot to put on his quote several items that were critical. 2. He had to use some of my equipment. I expect that they would have all the equipment with them. 3. There was very poor communication to one of his helpers on what we had agreed needed to be done. The ceiling in the living room is still incomplete, but although he offered to finish it, I elected to do it myself. 4. I explained that on some of the work I wanted done to replace with new material. Instead, he simply calked and did some painting, which I will have to finish because even the first coat looked unprofessional. 5. Granted, he did come by and I missed his call, even though I was at home. That was not his fault, but he could have at least left a voice mail or called again. Communication was lacking. 6. Clean up was fair, however, I am going to have to move a gate and some trash to where it can be picked up by the trash people. 7. One day he left to go somewhere and did not return for over four hours. I asked if he went to another job and he did not comment. I suspect he did. When someone has unfinished work it is very rude to leave one customer to go to another. 8. I had no problem with them being polite and friendly but promises made and not kept concerned me. I will have to get someone else to finish what was not done, by my choice. 9. I was hoping to have found someone to take care of some many housekeeping issues since I have a handicap keeping me from doing worked I was capable of. Hawkins Home Improvement would have been that company. My suggestion is to write down exactly what work you wanted done and then have him quote on parts/labor before contracting with him. There were some things we talked about when he came out the first time that weren't done. 10. I felt like he was pricey for what work was done. I do not plan on their services going forward, but wish them the best going forward. Frank Freese
