Headwaters Building and Contracting

We are having an Arbitrator inspect, have had to bring in another company to estimate repair costs to Headwster installation, as our flooring is gapping, buckling, and loosing from the floor. It is the opinion that the installation was improper, as the "peel and,stick" type flooring requires glueing. Previous job on bedrooms with same flooring, installed by Home Depot, no such problems since install 1 year ago. Recent job, problems appearing 1 week later. Three months have passed, no resolution as of yet. DO NOT take a chance with Headwaters. The floor may need to be totally taken up, re-installed properly

Timely, professional, on budget - final cost matched the initial estimate. Quickly scheduled site visit, defined project scope and schedule, then prepared detailed estimate. Scheduled repair project quickly, and stuck to schedule. Quality of workmanship and materials was excellent. I would absolutely use Headwaters again.

Took too long (3 mos vs. estimated 3 weeks), contractor was not responsive (job in Boerne was always way more important), cost overruns were exorbitant. Multiple Re-do's on bad work was incomprehensible.

From the bid process to the completed job, everything was done in a timely manner. Very great company!!!

Quoted "Turn Key" Attic completion; required new entry with ladder, light, and flooring. Headwaters was awarded contract for supplying specific ladder. They notified us as they began the project they would be unable to supply quoted ladder; project manager was unaware they couldn't get the ladder they quoted in the size we wanted. Project Mgr. had one of his crew order ladder so he was unaware ladder was unavailable. (How could the project mgr. quote us a price in the first place?) Project Mgr. Ben only showed up at start of project and at the end to collect. Project Mgr. Ben was always available by phone, his communication with us was exceptional, with the exception of type of ladder they were installing. He offered to have his guys come back and finish project to our satisfaction after we inquired about flooring that did not get laid down. The "Crew" did not bring enough material to floor the attic the first time. The 2nd time out the "Crew" Still did not bring enough flooring to complete the job; we were told they would bring more flooring when they actually installed the ladder. (The ladder we hadn't wanted was delayed in shipping) When they came out the 3rd and final time they did not have enough material to complete the flooring. The flooring cuts were very irregular , lots of wastage in our opinion. When the completeness of the job was questioned we were informed the "Attic" was being floored for functionality not for beauty. Turn Key means Turn Key, nothing left to do. We finished what they did not. Unfortunately we could not recommend.
