"I?ve been in business more than 20 years. I?ve never had a Better Business Bureau interaction so I want to explain what happened because I care about my customers and I care about my reputation. Healthy Environments was contracted to work on removing asbestos floor tile from the kitchen of this particular customer. The customer accused Healthy Environments of damages in an area that we didn?t work in. These damages were to the middle and top of a door and hardwood floor in an adjacent room. Another contractor, who has no relationship or connection with Healthy Environments, was hired by the customer to remove walls and other materials in the kitchen. The customer also accused Healthy Environments of contaminating the home by leaving behind a 1/4 inch of floor tape that was not in a friable state. Healthy Environments offered to remove the tape but weren?t granted access to the home. Healthy Environments tested air quality and also engaged with and paid for a third party to perform air quality samples. All of the air samples came back below EPA standards. We stand by our work. We didn?t cause any damage. We went above and beyond to try to help this customer in areas related to the work we were engaged to complete."
