I hired Healthy Environments to remove asbestos floor tile from my basement after getting quotes from 7 contractors. I picked Healthy Environments because of their price, favorable reviews, and availability. I had many questions prior to the work beginning and John was prompt, patient, and polite with answering all of them. John and his team completed the work in one day and did a thorough job, with the exception of a few missed tiles on some stairs that one of his employees happily returned to remove and seal. The floor and stairs were coated with a sealant and air testing was performed by a trusted third party to confirm there was no contamination. I would highly recommend Healthy Environments for affordable and professional removal of asbestos floor tile. It might be worth noting that this job did not involve removing the mastic (which was tested and confirmed to be free of asbestos).

Project completed within reasonable timeframe.

Overall the experience was good and I believe I picked the right contractor. Although the process was more exhausting that I had imagined initially. The whole process took about 10weeks and 4 trips out due to an insufficient reduction in radon and modifications to the mitigation system. I'm not saying another contractor could have done it quicker or with higher quality, but I'm just sharing my experience. The first visit resulted in a cracked and crumbling interior basement wall where the hole was drilled. The second visit resulted in a twisted exterior vent system that occured after installing a larger fan. The third visit was exploratory to review possibilities to install a second access point. The fourth visit masterfully routed the second access point through the rafters. This prevented the need for additional outdoor piping and looked good. Unfortunately, the seal around the access point didn't seal and sucks air in from the basement. Overall I'd recommend the contractor, but I'd expect a lot of trial and error to get to a final solution.

Although I still have not got my emailed results (secretary must have my wrong email address) I did call and got the results right away. The inspection went as planned. Mr. Greb was infomed and professional.

BEWARE!!! We hired this company to do a simple asbestos removal of our kitchen floors. it was supped to be very easy one day max. they had holes in the containment walls they set up to protect the rest of the home from any possible dust getting throughout the entire living space. which is a major health concern by the way.Also the failed to remove all of the asbestos they left an entire segment crumbling and hanging by our back door.they also bent every single 4 inch nail into the beams just for fun i guess. to add insult to injury they destroyed our brand-new fiberglass door we had installed when we purchased the home its now covered in dents and gouges that cant be fixed with paint! also where they were sitting the tools they used in our dining room they left a circular saw running and cut through our original 120 year old hardwood floors that I am so in love with and had planned on sanding and re staining. but now i have massive cuts in the middle of the room that will not be able to be sanded out I am so upset with the carelessness of this company! how dare you enter somebodys home and treat it with such disrespect! and the owner DAVE GREB still believes after all of his workers negligence that he still deserves payment for the lack of job they did do and amount of damages he now added to my home! he has no resolution and is being entirely unreasonable! i cant believe the EPA has not shut them down yet this is literally the most DANGEROUS company I have ever had the displeasure of coming in contact with! Side notes, the men that came in to remove the floor were complaining about how they were lied to about what this job entailed they were told they were just going to be supervising not actually doing any labor?! so obviously that set the tone for the work about to be done on our home by unwilling angry workers!!! What a joke of a company! the owner is ridiculously uncooperative in solving any of our issues he does not believe any of his workers would lie to cover their own behind I WANT ALL OF THE DAMAGE YOU CAUSED TO BE FIXED IMMEDIATELY ! i will not stop till you right your wrongs DAVE! please do not let this ignorant company damage your home or the health of your loved ones it can be a deadly mistake!

They took test but have not got the results back as of yet. will know more soon

This business was extremely professional and quick to work with. They quickly scheduled testing for my home to see if asbestos was part of a ceiling that had collapsed. The testing came back negative however, if it had been positive I would have IMMEDIATELY hired them for the mitigation and removal. They know their stuff and are willing to help however they can. A+!

Did a very efficient job at a great price

We needed ceiling tile tested for asbestos. Healthy Environments was responsive, flexible and half the price of other businesses I talked to about this testing. I highly recommend them!

They came to my home to explain the process and discuss possible locations for the radon remediation; provided a fair quote and when it came time to install the system arrived promptly. The work was completed in the time frame estimated and the entire area was cleared of all debris when the job was finished. Friendly, courteous team.
