I waited a couple of months before writing my honest review to make sure our issues were dealt with and they were. For months we had a persistent mold type smell coming from a particular room in the house that was driving my wife mad. Todd was excellent! He took multiple samples throughout the house and gave a recommendation to correct the issue by installing a REME Halo air purification system. We were a little sceptical because we had already spent thousands by encapsulating our crawl space and replacing all of the duct work and cleaning the HVAC system. We had them installed for both the upstairs and downstairs HVAC systems and have had ZERO mold odor since then and much better air quality inside the house as well. We could not be happier with the results.

Owner was very nice and spoke well about the services his company provides. Workers came and unfortunately they didnt have the same enthusiasm. We checked the ducts after they left and still found them to be dirty. Owner did send someone out a different day and made it right. Overall we were then satisfied. It shouldnt take us digging our arms inside vents and finding them dirty in order to eventually get what we paid for. The employees need to be vetted better or have a supervisor check the jobs after the work is completed to make sure customers are getting what we pay for.

Todd was a professional through the whole process. He was timely and responsive with meetings and questions.

The company is located in the Redmill area of Va Beach. I had a serious mold infestation in my car and the owner responded to my request for help within ten minutes. He was very responsive throughout the entire job. He sent photos of what he did and continuously kept me informed until we discussed the final lab report and findings. I recommend this company to anyone requiring quick and responsive mold analysis.

Todd is very helpful and knowledgeable. After he helped us with our mold problem he got us set up with someone to come clean our HVAC system (vents in the house) and install a device that helps clean the air. I would definitely use him again.

Todd Bowman was so knowledgeable in his explanation of air testing we hired him without getting any more quotes. It was a great decision. He was always prompt as was his crew we hired to clean our ducts and the man who installed the Air Knight air purification system. All were very friendly, prompt and did great work. An outstanding company that I would highly recommend.

I would recommend this company for anyone needing to have testing done in their home. Great customer service and very professional. Mr. Bowman was on time for our appointment and very knowledgeable and informative. We also had a quick turnaround for our test results.

Smooth and simple process, start to finish. Professionalism and customer service is top notch. Quick to respond and thorough service; I was half expecting a product sales pitch, but I m happy to say that was not the case. Healthy Home FX far surpassed my expectations and I would be happy to do business with them again. Highly recommended!

Complete waste of time, Todd never did a control sample (outdoor), needed results for landlord/tenant suit, now attorneys won’t touch our case, we were all sick for almost 2 years, 9 yr old son went through, surgeries, tests and medications not needed, threw away most of our belongings due to black mold, to prevent cross contamination to new place which we still don’t have, our family and pets are split between other homes, with no legal recourse because he never did what all the other mold inspectors said should have been done on any inspection. Broke, homeless, long gone personal belongings, and no way to rebuild our lives. When contacted to request redo, Todd refused without charging us again, stated he could only do the outdoor sample for free, that too made our original results invalid because testing was performed on separate days, and due to fluctuations of the environment it wouldn’t be accepted as evidence. Hire someone else. Especially if your livelihood and health depends on it.
