About us

Founded by Carlyle Martin, Heartland Home Improvements, LLC, has been serving the greater Shenandoah Valley since 2003. We seek to make homes more energy efficient while maintaining their structural and aesthetic integrity. We install replacement windows and doors, exterior siding, decorative cornice, architectural columns and exterior window and door trims that are of the highest quality and backed by reliable warranties. The Heartland team is dedicated to community service and has completed a number of projects in the Harrisonburg-Rockingham community as well as provided disaster relief to Mississippi and Louisiana. The team also goes on recreational outings together, such as hunting and fishing trips, to strengthen company identity and foster a sense of cooperation and goodwill.

From several available choices we elected to use Heartland Home Improvements, LLC to increase our postage-stamp sized deck using a composite material. From sales through construction, their personnel were very friendly and helpful. Located on a rather sloped lot, special care was taken to ensure that the lawn grade was maintained to avoid any possibility for basement moisture seepage. The finished product is spectacular providing a welcome addition to our home. We would not hesitate to use Heartland again for future home improvements.

I have a difficult schedule and they worked around my availability which was tremendously appreciated. Workers were prompt, courteous and cleaned up after themselves. They went "above and beyond" . touched up paint after replacing window, cleaned up a paint spill and informed me about warrantee for the window - important since golf ball broke my previous window. Would use them again in a heartbeat.
