Tony is very honest, upfront and profesional. Some work was delayed due to incliment weather, but that was to be expected. His team was very good at cleaning up once the job was finished. I had my lawn seeded and the sprinklers updated. He did a very good job. Looking forward to him doing my backyard next year.

Contractor is a poor communicator. He would go for 2-3 days without working at the site and then blame other factors for this. He did not complete the job on the due date as was on the contract..he went 2 weeks more than the 4 weeks that were planned for the job. He really comes off as professional but the reality is that he works on his own time schedule without keeping the customer informed. The quality of work was fine, but felt he was a bit overpriced for the job and for the "plans" that he drew up. And we had to keep coming up with more $$ for everything he did not anticipate.

the curbing was 100 feet minimum. We only used 70. There was other places to use the extra curbing but we were not asked. the palm trees are very small. one tree is to close to the curb and all I could get from Tony was a written guaurantee that he would replace the curb when the tree grows into it and it cracks.

My overall impression is "WOW". Tony took what I told him and improved on my ideas, did a very professional job, and I am very satisfied. The only negative in the whole project was the time frame. It took a lot longer than it should have, because he dealt with a new vendor and didn't have the proper follow-up with them. But my backyard looks great, it exceeds my expectations, and I am getting great compliments from everyone who sees it. I would definitely recommend Tony to anyone.

Lawn and Garden Sprinkler System - Repair
I recently had sprinkler repair work done by a Heartwood employee and I was extremely dissatisfied. I found out later that the employee had been fired. However, that still left me with a shoddy sprinkler job and meant that Tony, at his own time and expense, would have to come back in and re-do the whole job. Tony and his crew recently completed the job and I'm very pleased with the results. This was a tough situation for everyone but Tony made it right. I would recommend Heartwood as a reputable firm who stands behind their reputation for quality.
