Contractor accepted the job with start and ending dates as well as form of payment that included payment at the end of the job. Would not start job unless a deposit was given, then had problems receiving my payment through Paypal. PayPal advised me that the contractor had my money. Started job on Thanksgiving day due to delay. They were working late evenings, obviously at another customers location. Contractor insisted job was complete and required final payment, this time through Google wallet. The job was not completed, there were at least 2 feed of rotten wood not replaced as well as holes between floorboard and floor that we agreed would be covered. Contractor admitted that he did not see the rotten wood (of course, he is working at night). He insisted on final payment and threatened to put a lean on the property...The rotten wood was not repaired nor were the wholes. He also had the nerve to advise me that he used more wood than originally estimated and the cost was included in final charge. We had an agreement that included, if more wood was needed he would consult with me prior to the fact, that never happened. I'm not a happy camper to say the least!!!
