I highly recommend Hector Romero Interior Design! They are quick studies and took care of my home as if it was their own. Their process is straight forward and they keep their promises. They managed my renovations and saved me from making mistakes, if I had tried to handle myself. I knew what I liked for furnishings but could not put it together anywhere near the way they did. Hector and Chis helped me develop my eclectic taste. My home was furnished completely by them, including teaching my new house keeper how to do my laundry, organize my closets and showing us which cleansers to use around the house. These guys great at what they do and I will use them the next time I buy a new home.

My wife and I purposely resisted purchasing any furniture when we moved to our new home as we were waiting to meet the right design professional who could make our home special. From the initial meeting with Hector and Chris, I knew we were in good hands and the result is beautiful. Hector and his team are professional and helped us express my love of color and my wife's love of whites and neutrals in the design. With their direction, practical sense of style and keen eyes they helped us create our beautiful home, including our young daughter's room which she loves! Hector's knowledge of products, materials & finishes is comprehensive - he truly knows his resources! His attention to details is evident; he was even able to have a wonderful custom work of art created for our living room. Our greatest reward is when guests come over and do not stop admiring how beautiful and comfortable our family home is. Their service after the project is first class. My wife and I bought a townhouse located just outside downtown. Great place, but needed updating badly. We wanted a modern look. We needed help with not only the design, but also someone who could coordinate contractors to get the job done. Luckily, after an internet search, we found Hector Romero Design. We met with Hector for an interview, and immediately felt comfortable with him, his ideas, and what he told us he saw as possibilities for the place. We hired him, and now looking back, we certainly made the right decision! He sat down with my wife and I individually at the beginning of the project to find what each of us liked. He then took that information to formulate different ideas for us to consider. In the end, he brought compromise, where each of us (my wife and I) had aspects incorporated that were important to us as individuals. This was a good size project including: living room, dining room, man cave, kitchen, 3 bedrooms /den, three bathrooms, loft and outside decks. We remodeled 3 bathrooms and opened kitchen to dining room. Re-tiled 75% of the house, re-finished existing hardwood floors, expansive glass windows were replaced on the front (2nd & 3rd floor). Paint inside and out, all new furnishings, appliances, TV and sound systems, carpet, dishes, towels and toothbrushes! In a project that large, a lot of things can go wrong. It could not have been smoother! Hector gave us a timeline and stuck to it, which was very important to us. Also, we knew exactly up front the costs for each phase, so no surprises! His organizational skills were outstanding, both from our side as well as keeping the contractors in line. I think he was as proud of the completed project as we were. It turned out more beautiful than even we had anticipated!

Hector Romero is a fabulous designer. He's smart and creative and is honest about what he thinks will work for your space and why. He works with you to develop a vision and shares his experience and insights as to why something will or won't work. He understands color really well!
