In June 2023, I had a new roof put on. Shingle and flat roof. By Oct 2023, my flat roof was leaking and had to get repaired. Aug 2024, I had a severe roof leak and called Cody to come either tarp or fix it. He sent a crew 4 days later. They found that there wasn't metal flashing under the shingles and water was getting in. He said he couldn't tell me what needed to be done on the inside of the house from the water damage without looking at it. Multiple times I requested for him to come back because it is still leaking. He has since blocked me from Facebook, text, and calling. I had to call from my work phone to reach someone and told them it is still leaking. I have not heard back days later. I have a roof that is leaking, interior damage with buckets and fans everywhere, and young kid and animals to worry about. Cody was very friendly and responsive in the beginning. After the work was completed, he avoids responsibility. Like I said, he has blocked me. This is unacceptable. I have a warranty and he will not even call or fix the roof they put on. For months I found nails. The one worker urinated in my yard in front of my ring doorbell. They rushed a flat roof and a shingle roof with siding for the dormer all in one day. I should have known it would have issues quickly after.

Hired Helm Construction to install siding in September. After several months of waiting as the product was apparently on backorder the crew showed up in February to start the project. It was sub contracted out to a crew of people we havenâ t met previously and only one person spoke English. The second day a truck had backed down our driveway and ended up driving off the side of the driveway causing ruts in the yard and knocking down a retaining wall of stone and brick around a drainage ditch. The owner Cody promised it would be taken care of. The retaining wall was, the ruts never were. My husband who had a recent knee surgery has tried to fix this himself. After completion we found an issue with a large gap left around a window. Contacted Cody and asked it be fixed and it never was. Texts and calls never returned. I was given a warranty and Iâ m not sure what good that is if they never call you back.

I hired Cody to repair a roof, signed a contract for $1200, the tech showed up started the work on the roof, I noticed that he was not doing what I thought he was going to do, the roofer said he was sent out to repair the roof only, I mentioned to the tech I want a refund since I thought I was getting one thing and I was getting another, since then I have not heard from Cody

Quality work, Great customer service, Great crew that performed the work. I was quoted by three other companies to replace my garage roof and I received the better quote and warranty from Cody at Helm. The roof work is exceptional and the crew finished the job and cleaned up all the debris. I would definately use Helm again for other projects.

He talks a good game but cannot get the job completed properly. I still have the leaks I started with. UPDATE; 09/11/2020; Per our prior agreement, he did pay me back to have another roofer come and fix it.

They showed up when promised, had all of the equipment needed and reinstalled the shingles that had blown off in about half an hour. Nice guys.

Cody and his company was the best! I don't even know where to start. I had an emergency from a previous contraction company's incomplete work and he came immediately. He traveled a good distance too. He thoroughly evaluated everything about the roof and explained in detail what he needed to do. Has the estimate back to me in a very timely manner and gave a start time and approximate end time. They started immediately and introduced his worker and kept me informed every step of the way. I was stressed by the last contractor but this company took all the stress away and I had my first full night sleep in a week. I will recommend Cody and his workers to all my family, friends and coworkers and even strangers! Awesome company!!!!!!!!

Cody was the best contractor I have ever worked with. He and his men were professional ,courteous and left my home with a new roof and no mess if anyone needs a contractor to replace a roof do not hesitate to hire Helm Construction Co. you won t find company better to do the job right at a great price. They nrver showed to do the work after we had a signed agreement and I shook hands with the owner. Owner never responded to emails or phone calls when they were a no show. Very disappointed with them leaving me hanging with a leaking roof.

Cody and his team were very professional. First with a fair estimate and then with the job itself. It was a stair railing installation/creation where none had existed before. Cody listened to my design ideas and produced it as envisioned. He asked for feedback along the way and made adjustments as needed. He also got my approval before he made it permenant so he knew I was happy with the placement before screwing it in. He charged a reasonable rate and cleaned up the job area before he left. All in all, he and his team acted the way you hope a company you hire acts and produced work you expect from a professional company. Great work! Will definitely look to hire them again for other handyman services.

They did a great job and arrived sooner than promised to fix the roof. They are polite, considerate and excellent workers. However, for the time the worker was here, I thought the charge was too much.

The owner and crew were efficient, professional, and cleaned up the worksite very well when the job was finished. I would recommend Helm Construction to anyone who needs roofing work done.
