They ended up breaking a lot of my belongings as well as taking gold coins paper money and jewelry and still had the nerve to ask for a tip

The gentleman in charge of the crew was very customer oriented and knowledgeable, but the two young men comprising the rest of his crew did not have a clue as to what they were doing! They broke my curio cabinet, stacked heavy boxes on top of light boxes thereby crushing them which ruined some items. They tried to complete the move in the middle of a downpour and it rained throughout the transfer of my goods - some things got wet. Again the team leader was excellent but his helpers need a great deal of training.

BEWARE. This review will be edited as this case progresses, but I want to warn all consumers in the Columbus area who are looking for a moving company. I hired HHM in August of 2018 to pack, load, and move my partners household goods into their storage warehouse while he was deployed in Afghanistan. This past weekend, another team of movers from HHM brought the items from their warehouse, unloaded the truck (with our help) and moved the items from the truck into the new apartment in Columbus. However, as the days go by, we continue to notice that big, valuable items are missing - totaling over $4,000.00 in replacement value. The manager we have spoken with, Jonathon, is defensive and argumentative, but says he is working on a claim which we have been told will be finalized by March 21. Recent reviews on other websites state that several customers have experienced the same type of losses in recent months, so I do hope that this company gets their act together soon. I will update once we see what happens with this claim. If you DO hire them, please beware and read their entire contract - EVERY WORD. We were handed contracts with boxes checked for us to sign next to, in the rush and chaos of moving and paying, and told that we were signing for insurance for our items when in fact, we were signing for the company to reimburse loss or damage at a per-pound value of $0.60.... which, of course, does no one any good when their rugs, silverware, lamps, artwork, marble stands go missing as those cannot be replaced for 60 cents per pound.

Michael and his team have helped me on two separate moves. My first move was from Fort Sill, Oklahoma to Fort Benning, Georgia. Michael flew out, packed all my personal belongings, drove the truck to Gerogia, and unloaded everything into on-post housing. My second move was from Fort Benning, Georgia to Fort Hood, Texas. Michael and his team once again expertly packed all my belongings, drove the truck to Texas, and unloaded everything into a second story two-bedroom apartment. His team works efficiently and effectively. I have the upmost respect for his company and he and his company are definitely military friendly. I would highly recommend his company to anyone, especially if you need help on a DITY move. Thank you and I will be calling you again on my next PCS.

He was early, and took care of my house hold goods. He is the best moving service I've never used.

Helping Hands Moving Service did a great job. I have used them for a variety of purposes. I used him for Local furniture pick up and delivery. Packing and cleaning out a storage unit. They are trustworthy. I was not even present for most jobs, but they delivered and arranged furniture to my specific instructions. This is a high integrity company.

I have used Helping Hands Moving Service for multiple moves. Everything that was promised was delivered. I highly recommend this company. Michael is fair and pleasant to work with, and he has a great crew as well. All my belongings were delivered on time and intact.
