"This was an incredibly negative experience for us as well. The client and I discussed that anytime before 9am was too early, so we agreed we would arrive after 9am, which is what we proceed to do, around 9.30-40. The client was so frustrated that we were "late" that she couldn't explain what she wanted us to do, she would only hand us products to use and send us to an area of the house, only to come and reprimand one of the two of us for doing the job wrong. We were unaware of any and all of her specific preferences, for which the whole clean was expected to be, so we moved ahead with a normal residential clean (of which we do many with no complaints) as best we could with constant critique and negative feedback, and were made to feel subservient and unprofessional when we weren't performing tasks to the clients specific preferences, which again, were not communicated. In regards to the stove, it was not communicated that a deep clean was wanted. We were busy with a job prior to this clean, and a few more following, as well as outdoor work for the evening, however we were not in a rush, we have standards and were not even given the chance to actually clean the house. I asked to leave several times but the client needed to maintain control and be the one to let us go when she chose. This client was more than rude and cruel to my employee and we have never experienced anyone with that much entitlement and inability to relax control. Needless to say I have raised my standards when taking on new clients after this experience!"
