Hendricks roofing just finished the roof. Took a couple weeks longer to get to us then we expected - probably catching up from lousy weather this spring. Once they started, it only took them a couple days to replace the roof. Also having them replace gutters, and some fascia that needed replacing. Happy so far. Checked a couple of his references before hand, and they were pleased as well. Seemed knowledgable about different roofing products, and had good reasons for why he used the brand (Elk) he did.

I don't think there was enough ice removed for it to effectively melt on its own. The snow was very effectively removed from the roof, but the ice damns are still pretty solid.
