Handyman for Multiple Small Projects
Tyrone Henson, the owner of the company is not a reliable or trustworthy individual. Henson & Sons Lawn Care was the referred contractor given to me via HomeAdvisor. They came, assessed the job and gave a quote. We agreed and I paid in full. They came out and did work for a few hours one day, but never completed the job. Whenever, we would make arrangements to complete the job, they would never show up. After several instances I realized that they were never planning on completing the work and just took the money. I eventually found someone else to complete the job.

Lawn Care - Aerate a Lawn
The aerating and overseeding was not done very effectively. The machine used for the aeration did not do a good job. I have to pay another company to do the job all over again correctly, or do it myself, as the results have turned out to be less-than-stellar.

Very nice to work with, showed up on time, aerated and put grass seed down. We're seeing green grass growing in areas that have been bare for quite a while. Great job overall.

Did not show up on time. Repeatedly called and changed the time. Did not seem to know much about lawn repair.

Tree Trimming
When I asked for a trim and asked them to remove the limbs hanging over, they trimmed some of it but, its still sticking out in the drive way.

There was a bit of a hiccup with scheduling due to the extreme heat and his helper cut a little too close to the bottom, but overall they did a beautiful job on our lawn. My roommate was a bit disappointed in the amount of dead grass left everywhere, but our other lawn guy bailed on us for almost three weeks so its more our fault not the Henson's company that there was so much.

Very prompt, professional, courteous and good communication. Did a great job on my grandmothers overgrown front and back yard. I wish I had taken before and after pictures to show the great work done and how much of an improvement this was to her home. My experience was great and I would use them again.
