Was impressed that the owner came out to do the estimate and discuss the work needed. Another company that we had come out to estimate the work sent a very young man with little experience. Herbst was quick to respond, price was very fair, work was done quickly and done well.

They did the tree removal easily but I thought the price was a little on the high side for the amount of time spent on the job.

Robert was very customer friendly. He did the job right away and exceeded my expectations. Trees look great and the clean up was perfect. I only put 4 star on the pricing because I didn't get other quotes because he was so fast. More my fault than his.

Robert's comment when he came to give me a bid was "That's a big old tree". They did remove the tree in my small back yard without incident. Their clean up was meticulous. The only "debris" left was the saw dust blown by the wind into the yard.

Robert's bid was median for a substantial tree & stump grinding, but I could tell tree SERVICE is in his blood. He pointed out a root that was sticking out of the yard and said, 'I can take care of that too!' I hadn't even thought about it, I'm so glad he suggested it!! His team started earlier than planned and got the tree down before the city pickup & that wasn't even planned. When I got home to pay him, he was cleaning up what the city had left behind. That's awesome service, from quote to finish! Herbst was the right choice!
