Heritage Wood Flooring

This is probably the rudest and abrasive contractor I have ever come across. Politely asked him to wear a mask twice when he came to do the work at our house, given the global pandemic, and he reluctantly agreed but then proceeded to put the mask on his head rather than actually wearing it. When asked again to please wear it due to health conditions in our household, he became very combative and gave excuses that it is too warm and uncomfortable to work, and how it does not do anything to wear the mask, and he had done previous jobs where they did not make him wear a mask. We have central air, so the temperature is not an issue. We said if he is not going to wear the mask, we would not feel comfortable with them doing the work- at which point he caused a greater scene and packed up to leave. Outside of a lack of respect for our wishes, he had an extremely unprofessional tone from the beginning. Please do not hire this company - especially if you have any concerns about loved ones safety, as the safety of their customers is clearly not a concern.

Tom Evans and his crew are very conscientious about the work that they do--even to the point of coming to our home weeks early to remove the shoe molding for the painters who were going to be completing their work first. My husband stopped by one day during the job and found the crew on the floor with hand sanders, making sure the floor was prepped just right for finishing. Our hardwoods are just beautiful, thanks to Tom Evans and his company, Heritage Hardwoods.

They were very polite and professional and did an excellent job. They met the schedule and arrived promptly each day. Our floors look beautiful and we are very pleased. I would strongly recommend them.
