Hero Home Inspection follows the highest and oldest standard for home inspectors. The ASHI Standard (www.homeinspector.org). Hero has 20+ years of construction project management, engineering and inspection experience. Graduate of The ASHI School as well as West Virginia University with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. Licensed as a WV Home Inspector (License #HI6074376-1117) and a WV Radon Tester (License #RT000746). Member of the American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI), WV Association of Home Inspectors (WVAHI) and National Radon Safety Board (NRSB). Hero performs each and every home inspection as if you were family! We go above and beyond the minimum standards to provide you the best comprehensive review of your home. Matt was incredible. He was comprehensive, professional and discussed every detail with us of the home inspection process. Matt took as much time as we needed to answer our questions and provided us with a prioritized list of items to consider before purchasing the home. So great we used them twice! Matt thoroughly inspects the property and gives you an honest report. We used him for a prospective purchase, he uncovered issues that we not apparent to the casual buyer; including serious foundation, water damage, and safety issues. His thoroughness saved us from purchasing a property that would have cost us much, much more beyond the purchase price. His honest report of conditions, not just rubber-stamping for a realtor, led to us hiring him again for our next attempt at purchasing in the area. Again, his report was thorough, and up-front. Although we were better versed in what to look for the second time around, he still was able to point out many things we missed. Hire with confidence!
