Reviews
Write a ReviewAmazing people to deal with. They took the time to explain something that seemed overwhelming at first. Gave great recommendations and really held our hands throughout the process. Highly recommended
Heroes Restoration was called in to dry out a wet ceiling from a water leak and paint the living room and kitchen due to they run together at the rate of $2,088. I paid $1.044. The living room ceiling is 297.13 sq and half of that was the wet area and no walls got wet. The dry out process was 3 days and painting to begin the next week. The painter attempted to prepair the ceiling and stated he could not complete the job due to the ceiling peeling. I was sent an invoice for $500. After questioning cost I spoke with Mr. Gunzburg as to why he double charges and why am I paying for services they did not do, such as a main level charge of $486, living room $616 and kitchen $76 when they are both on the main level. He stated, tha is how the insurance company wants it. Charges for painting, electrical labor and cleaning labor and none of this was done. Mr. Gunzburg stated he was thankful I caught the charges and he would give a refund of everything except the dehumidifier and fans. I could understand the cost if they had to clean up water and mitigate cause the ceiling was falling, but none of that was needed. This company needs to be looked into by the insurance companies and all others need to request a breakdown of cost.
We utilize estimating software that is industry-standard and accepted across the board by insurance companies. We discuss charges upfront on all self-pay jobs and this customer was no different. During the course of the job, we come across challenges that we work through with the customer - again this job was no different. In the end, we had many conversations with this customer as to the charges and adjusted the estimate many times in an attempt to make the customer happy. I will reach out again to try and rectify this situation and turn this customer into a 5 star as the rest of our reviews. Veronica, Hi! I am so sorry that you did not experience the 5-star service that we always strive for. I will reach out to you to see if we can rectify the experience you had and you can feel better about our company. I will talk to you soon we will see what we can do. Thank you for your feedback.
Very punctual , professional and low pressure. I was given minimum and maximum repair options, and even some in between.
Liz, Hello! Thank you for the positive review! I was wondering if there was anything that we did to fall short of the 5-star service we strive to offer. If so please let us know so that we can fix it and hopefully get from a 4-star review to a 4.5 or 5-star review. Please let me know. Thanks!
Even though our water problem not something that Heroes could fix, David assisted in cleanup and was able to recommend where I could go to get the problem assessed.
Heroes responded quickly to our call about our flooded basement. They set up fans and a dehumidifier and applied anti microbial. They removed the wet wall to wall carpet. Our basement os dry now! Tony was very nice and responsive.
The response was immediate, the evaluation of the problem honest and reasonable, and all was resolved to our great satisfaction!
Highly qualified; very professional. I felt very confident that the scope of work was what was needed to fix our problems - not too much; not too little. They remained in constant communication before and during the work so we knew what to expect, including knowing when we had to be out of the house when chemical treatments were happening. They also remained responsive after the work was completed, providing requested documentation we needed for third parties. Highly recommended!
Top noch service. Highly recommend.
Absolutely the best service I have received.
