We hired them for our irrigation project. We had a few problems, but they worked with us to get it all straightened out. The sprinkler system works great.

This was the worst experience I've had with a contractor in a very long time. They insisted on being paid ahead of time and promised to fix my irrigation pump by the end of the week. They didn't show up and I had to call to find out they wouldn't get there until Monday. Monday they didn't show up and I had to call them. They said they would get back to me and didn't. They still haven't returned my money at this point. I ended up having someone else do the job.

Heron Irrigation is a great company! I had an existing sprinkler system that old, overgrown and underused. First of all, I put in a request through ServiceMagic and before I took my hand off the mouse Heron's call came in. I was pressed for time because it's my vacation home. Mark came over the next day, looked at what was there, and explained ALL of my options. He arranged the earliest appointment . The crew came on time, explained the job, waited for my questions, & worked in the blistering heat. They set the timer according to the city ordinances and explained everything else. Since then I have gotten a phone calls & an email to follow up!

The reps that came and quoted me a price had me pay them $360 on the spot for what they said would fix my problem. However, when the tech came out he found that the problem was simply a broken line and charged me an additional $100 to repair it. I'm not pleased!!

"With irrigation systems, you can only inspect so far initially. We give as detailed of repair recommendations as possible but until our technician actually unearth the ground, there can be additional issues such as a broken line or broken pipe that is not detectible until the actual repair is performed and the system is pressurized."

The technician showed up early for the appointment which I very much appreciated. He evaluated the entire sprinkler system, then discussed his recommendations with me in detail. After providing several options, he addressed all my questions. He was very professional. I will use Heron in the future and will recommend them to anyone who needs an irrigation specialist.
